The hotel lies rather unimpressive in the middle in the center of the center. The hotel from the inside is really very nice and has crazy lots of flair. Unfortunately we thought that the staff not so friendly as it should be. The hotel was very clean and tidy the rooms were clean, but on the whole it is an old house where here and there a few small faults has. We had only booked breakfast however this was nothing special and not varied. We were 3 days in this hotel and were in the entire really pleased. It was ... also very quiet in the hotel however we weren't in the high season what I only everyone to recommend can. read more

    We had the luck the not much going on was in the hotel and therefore we got as honey-moon holidayer, the suite. Well our style the room was not it was just cuban furnished but therefore not bad. It was a massive room with extremely high ceilings all decorated in dark wood, so that the room was very dark and oppressive, we had a very large bathroom very cuban style was. Our small balcony was directly on a small lane of Havanna where the cuban life witnessed. We saw how the parents in the early their children to school,, other are to work went downstairs was a small shop where the cubans their food could buy it was very interesting.

    We only booked with breakfast, we found that however now not so great. It was a smaller breakfast buffet but the choice was there. The kitchen style was also more cuban but that is just so if you in Cuba vacation makes.

    The staff were really not very friendly however also not terrible. We had not problems with the check-in or check-out. However we weren't in the high season and thus except for us there were only 6 other persons in the hotel, so it was also very quiet and the staff had therefore also no stress.

    The location was just great, you can go out of the hotel and is in the middle in the happening. From the balcony our room we had a view directly into a small alley where the cubans right in the everyday experience. It is perhaps 5 to 10 minutes on foot to the sights in the old town and also lots of restaurants are easily reached. Unfortunately cannot bus the hotel drive since it from several small streets surrounded is so we had to with our luggage from the main street to the hotel walking.

Hotel in really beautiful colonial style with a great flair. In the hotel inner courtyard (covered) you could enjoy outstanding its Morgenzigarre! That was it but also with the morning. The coffee on breakfast buffet is really not enjoyable. Cold, thin, tasteless! The hot food is really such a thing, egg dishes cold, Sausages and bacon also. read more

    Room from the reasonable size. in things cleanliness it is acceptable, but the condition some facilities( shower, Taps, toilet, towel rack etc.) is really überarbeitungswürdig!

    Unfriendly staff in the breakfast room the laugh learned. At the front desk also unfriendly and incompetent. The bell boy arrogant and only after tips. when we after a flight from 12 hours in the hotel around 19:00 arrived, opened we are the on the first floor a water pipe broken and our room not to refer. You drove us with the taxi for a night in another hotel(12 kilometer from the old town behind the GES. Malecon away) and we would the next morning let yourselves be picked up again. Everything worked, except for the first night of course not more in old town could. In the morning in the hotel were the two following nights okay. Since we but after our round trip cuba after 8 days again in the hotel Florida 2 nights before the home had booked we had the reservation and Zimmerreserv. Re-confirm. After the round trip of 8 days we came so again to this hotel and you attempted uS to explain we again the first night in a other hotel stay should be the problem from the first time available was. When the woman at the front desk but immediately any swelling our two carotid arteries and our evident ranks protest to sink looked, handle the telephone and phoned longer with the manager of the hotel. So we were moved to a very spacious, well equipped totally quiet Dachterrassenzimmer for the two nights. The bell boys at the first night a good tip had stood at our second arrival again present, probably in good Hope. When we then but vigorously protested he made immediately from the dust. When we in the morning of the departure flight our packed suitcase in the room to put still subordinate wanted, since we had 4 hour until the departure had, we had to really 4 CUC( about 1 euro) fee pay! The that is unacceptable!

We were as a couple twice for three days there. The hotel is not at all so bad. Service, friendliness and organization are simply miserable. Twice, on arrival havana and after our return from the round trip the hotel was overbooked. You needed is a good alternative, but that was around 15 kilometer outside Havannas old town. What should we be so? Unfriendly staff placed itself stubbornly in the second time we have stubbornly and on our times confirmed rooms consisted. Suddenly were then a free. For a relaxed vacation I need this kind of hotels not. In short: Never ... again hotel Florida. read more

Had a room for two on the first floor booked, this got. It was a room in normal size with window a very lively street and a bathroom without window and with poor air ventilation. The furnishing was in good condition, the beds were however somewhat worn out. the room was good clean, but by far not clean! we booked half-board, however knew no one what that means, which led, that it always problems in the evening gave. Background: the restaurant belongs to the hotel, but you have to clearly say that you in the hotel resides, otherwise you get ... the card, ordered, eats and must afterwards are charged! For residents there is special menus: every evening the Same! Therefore, a half board not only not recommendable, but also superfluous, since the proportion from price and performance in any proportion with each other! Better restaurants try, there are many good also nearby! The breakfast was good! read more

    normal size, two beds (two mattresses tile), large closet, minibar, TV, chest, table, chair, armchair, air conditioning, safe, telephone, bathroom with bath tub, shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet. it was clean. the mountings were already older, but the water was fresh!

    in spite of the really very good food I can assign here unfortunately only a 'bad' give, as the selection of dishes for Halbpensionäre too strong limited is (-3 evenings the same, solely the type of meat can be varied). Sometimes missing cutlery, the pianist put in the effort, however often is tones beside it and breaks it down.

    right in the old town! Perfect! Everything on foot to reach (except the square the revolution and the fortresses on the other Side of the river with the taxis about 4 CUC). The Armas square are only a few distance, there are always taxis! it is very badly soundproofed ( Kolonialhotel) and during the day to sunset still restless because of the lively streets, but if one is tired, you can sleep!

The 5 nights in the Florida were great. The room we had on the 2 floor to calle obispo (rather loud, but with ear plugs and a ron before going to sleep, it was). On arrival we had a 2. sheet demand, a sheet which has the mattress curious was, only a part of the mattress covered. But we have these immediately received (so good handling of complaints). The breakfast buffet is very ok, but after 5 days we saw. Still recommendable for a city stay. By the way the hotel has a wonderful and very well maintained inner courtyard ... with lots of space to throw away. read more

City hotel with charm, clean, everything worked. Please note; in room facing the street make sure, as the room to the backyard without a window! In the middle of the old town, corresponding the noise window blind. Cannot be driven by car, no hotel parking. Next to the hotel there is a guarded parking for three CUC/publicnight read more

We had a room first, which was very big but partly moldy and damp in the walls was. It was no windows. The air conditioning was not adjustable. On the first day had we no hot water. The bathroom fixtures are very dated. The second room was very small but at least it was no mold. The holder for the shower head was torn from wall and in the corners in the bathroom was also not thoroughly cleaned. Whenever the cleaning lady in the room was, the own room card worked for not more. Despite its location I would book ... this hotel not more. read more

The hotel has a central location in the old town a havana, but the mildew on the walls of our room and the smell of detergent makes a impossible to sleep. We travel again with great pleasure to havana but not more in the hotel! read more

The best location it was already very often mentioned, is really great. The entire hotel has character. The architecture gives cuban flair. The here and there a few things not working as well. You are in a country where everything as usual not happening. You must stop here and there an eye push shut. We have felt very comfortable here and us would immediately accommodated us without thinking again in this hotel. read more

A stopover for a round trip. The hotel's location is unique at Havanna to meet. Very good centrally located and offers itself as a starting point for tours to. Simply great. The hotel is in a wonderful style built. Unfortunately, there is it, it was just everywhere but preserves still the original beauty. The rooms are clean. Water stains on the stucco ceiling values I not as unclean, but ' it was' next to the restaurant is a gemueliche bar. The hotel is from the location brilliant, in a pedestrian area ( Commercial) and the possibility eat somewhere to go ... offers at. Therefore no Restauranbewertung. read more
