Good but old hotel, well located. With my card of intercontinental hotel group were given free WIFI and also an upgrade in the room. (i had reserved a single, and were given a double room).

Price-performance ratio a catastrophe. Have 200 euros per night and would have expected much more.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. The combination of business and leisure, the holiday mood perhaps affect, the breakfast buffet must one as holiday-makers, but definitely not to the rush hour to visit.
The junior suite, which we stayed in, was in spite of the seem very quiet and ideal to relax. The decor and room service there was nothing to complain about. The atmosphere was overall very friendly, the staff cooperative. The gastronomy in our experience also very good pleased.
The beautiful footpath to the center of the center along the Salzach is approximately 10-15 minutes. read more

The hotel is located in the salzburg city center and is therefore a very good traffic connection. The employees are very accommodating, the service is perfect.

The Crowne Plaza is a outdated, but nevertheless nice hotel.
Our room was very spacious, however the furnishing is quite old-fashioned. A renovation would the hotel not hurt (new mattresses).
The breakfast buffet was good and the coffee delicious:-)
The hotel is in an optimal location: about 10 minutes' walk to the center.
The staff were very friendly. A forgotten shirt they gave us free of charge to Germany proficient!
The hotel we have over Animod booked, so was the price completely reasonable.
The hotel we would already book here again, but found the hotel 'Markus Sittikus' next door ... more appealing, although the room was much smaller. read more

The hotel lies quite cheap, around Salzburg also on foot visiting. To the castle mirabell there is no 5 minutes and also in the historic part it is only about 20 minutes on the way. The hotel is unfortunately very run-down ( furniture, hallways) and maximally three stars deserves. Our Juniosite would normal 480, / night! Costs, which far any Reality. Thanks Dailydeal we could about 169,- for 2 nights live.
The pitter basement would be quite nice, but unfortunately it is very cool-air-conditioning and staff ( main. German staff). The food is but very good - the prices ... rather high (kinderburger 11, -).
Once again we would not really go to this hotel - at least not normal price. read more

We were to 2. Mal to guest and it had somewhat better in our memory. This time we got without extra charge an upgrade to a junior suite, which however also not essential larger, than the average double room is. Also the furnishing is actually only average.
We were just 1 night there, that was okay. Breakfast buffet is also only average, otherwise it was in the breakfast room relatively loud. For a short stop in Salzburg is enough the hotel from, also because of the reasonable location near the train station, but not more. read more

A wonderful house with polite staff.
Whether for breakfast or right at the front desk. Always friendly and attentive.
The breakfast was great-never I better scrambled egg eaten :-)
The room was big enough and clean - the beds a dream.
Especially recommendable the bar is right next to the entrance. There you can for example after a daytrip with a delicious cocktail or beer relaxation. Comfortable atmosphere, very friendly barkeeper.

A junior suite to a favorable Prepaidrate is very recommendable: spacious, quiet, comfortable. Location of the hotel: circa 10-15 to old town on the other river side, so a wonderful walk. The staff are very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is varied, service staff and breakfast room ended but on weekends to its borders. read more

We only stayed one night at the Crowne Plaza and only a special price without refund. Generally, the hotel was very nice and is also located very central in the old part of town. Unfortunately I think the parking a bit inconvenient, as the parking garage a block away is. As well as stuck a dead fly on the wall and the bottle was empty, when we got to the room. All complaints were handled immediately and solved. On the breakfast I can unfortunately nothing say, since we didn't booked. Generally I would for a short stay definitely choose this ... hotel again. read more
