Very good city hotel near the center

Very good hotel for a city trip to Amsterdam. The hotel is 10 minutes from Amsterdam center away. It drives regularly a bus from the center to fas before the hotel door. Around the hotel is not quite a lot, rather a industry and residential area. Opposite there is a gas station for any a few snacks and drinks. However there is also in the hotel. The breakfast buffet is perfect, a selection of breads and toast, sausage and käsevariationen, as well as boiled eggs and scrambled egg. Perfect were the two coffee machines. There are cappo, Latte, espresso etc. ... After the check out there is free possibility the luggage in a luggage storage-iced. Very good for a late-, return journey. read more

We had a very lots of hotels on the internet looked at and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is located somewhat away, however we were by bus ( 2,70 Euro) in 10 minutes to the central station. ( despite the construction site! ) I don't know what all always with the carpet have. Yes! It is a carpet and yes! Perhaps it is the definitely not the best choice for a hotel, but I have not committed, knees to the carpet to check! After we the whole day only ran we are evenings in our bed ... 'like '. If you have the curtains closed to see the lights not! ( sounds really logical, seems however still not everyone understood, so typing I it gladly times purely-) ) The breakfast seemed a bit pricey so we cke ran and on the right side a ' bagels & beans found. We had for bagel, coffee and fresh orange juice about 6 €paid. read more

Really reasonable, from the outside one expects not at all that a pleasant hotel, as you inenndrin finds. Very tastefully decorated and in less than 5 minutes on the bus middle in the center ( main station). Great value for money, exactly the right thing for a city trip in Amsterdam. The prices in the hotel's own restaurant are somewhat upscale, have the food not tested, the kitchen is however of outside fully visible and looked very clean and tidy from, which spoke for the kitchen. read more

A very recommendable hotel for a city trip to Amsterdam. Good bus-traffic connection to the city center ( about 20 minutes). Einzelfahrpreis 2,70 Euro. Against an extra charge: very extensive breakfast ( 18 Euro per person), self-contained underground parking (26 Euro per day). Room of pleasant size with mini bar, television (2 German channels: 1st and 2 program). Bathroom very functional equipped with bathroom and shower, toilet and hair dryer. Very pleasant terrace (front) with view in'Grüne. We really enjoyed it: anytime again! read more

Coffee the machine, juice, rolls, jams, cheese, egg, Bacon, sausage, juice and so on very delicious and clean ☺ evenings we were once down in the restaurant Watch football and since we had a cocktail drank the was very expensive(15 euros) so not recommendable..., but the price from beer was adequate...

Hotel was not especially comfortable. Everything was to a jumbled and so really great one just didn't feel. TV reception from Germany was only pool of broadcasting corporations and second channel of German television. The Außernpool we didn't use, but be inclusive. Unfortunately, there are on foot no possibility in a bar or in a restaurant to come. Except of course the hotel's own. To the garage the hotel has also properly struck. 20,00 euros the night. We are a day before we left. However nothing just for the hotel, but also, because the weather was really poor and ... if you didn't really feel welcome, is better in homeward direction. We would definitely go back to Amsterdam, but in a other hotel, we also be comfortable and what more in the center is. read more

The hotel is very easy to find. Very well, that the hotel has its own parking garage (cost per day 22.50 euro). The bus stop for the bus is right in front of the hotel. As the bus runs every ten minutes one traveled quickly (in about five minutes) into the center. We have a 3-day ticket directly in the bus purchased. The 15.50 euro costs for the three days and for all buses, the metro and the tram for valid. Better is actually not at all. Only with German one comes in Amsterdam not much farther. No ... English is that I think a bit difficult. I would recommend this hotel for a city trip to Amsterdam again and again book. read more

Westcord art hotel the two (3 star and four star) share reception and breakfast room. The room of the hotel two different in size, in the design of the bathroom and furnishings (no laptop safe and no flat screen TV in the 3-star hotel). We had booked over Neckermann-a double room in the 4-travel star hotel, our voucher was but for a room in the 3-star-hotel. We must be careful when booking through Neckermann! The lobby of the hotel is modern and well designed. It is keen to come and go. Guests come from many different nations. At the same ... time with us were many Spanish guests in the hotel. At the reception is good english spoken. Some receptionists spoke German also. The staff are friendly and helpful, if it was a problem. On our request was our laptop at the reception, since we only had a small safe in the room. Our room was small but clean. It was no closet, only a pole and some open files. A small safe was available with a pin, but inconvenient placed at the bottom of the shelf. Small kettle, tea bags and instant coffee available some. Beds were changed daily, there were fresh towels on request (used towels on the floor). In the bathroom were small sizes of shampoo and shower gel and a hair dryer available. Shower is in the bathtub. A half glass wall prevented larger floods. The vent in the bathroom is not to turn and the whole night through. The fan noise is also in the room to listen. The windows to the hotel can only be withdrawn from the outside and were very dirty. The door, the transfer to the hallway separates the hotel rooms from the stairwell, is only with the room card to open and close each time was so loud, that the shock is on the doors. The hotel is located on a busy street. Directly in front of the hotel the bus number 48, the ten to twelve minutes to the central station. The bus runs every ten minutes. This year it is in Amsterdam no strip card more, but day passes for the use of public transport. A 96-hour ticket costs 19 euros at the moment. You can pay the driver but also a single. From Amsterdam you can relatively cheap in the area many excursions with the public transport companies. Train ride to Zandvoort and back about Haarlem twelve euros, 13.50 euros to Alkmaar. The waterland-ticket (pass for the Arriva-buses to Edam, volendam, and trade marks) nine euros. Good Unbedingst on valuables watch out! In the station area are many pickpockets underway. Us a purse was stolen from a with zipper unnoticed shoulder bag closed. read more

Uiuiui. Rarely found such a bad room there was not only dirty, it was dirty. Dust everywhere, millimeterdicke deposits on lamps or outlets, marble windowsills. Yuck. Miniature safe in the farthest corner built up as Accompanies other than a credit nothing get into and you have to crawl on your knees while in the corner, the safe built up. Minibar ok, electronic Wunderteil everything in the invoice will you touched. Quite in the middle of nothing, about 20 minutes by bus outside of Amsterdam. Shopping and dining nearby which weren't acceptable. By bus #48 (which runs directly in front of the hotel) takes you to the city. Otherwise it was rather noisy main road in front of the hotel. Parking is rather studid: ZERO or 3 euros/hour on the street or 22.50 in the hotel garage. The area around the hotel is dead for tourists.

The breakfast buffet was above average for a 3 star hotel. There was a wide variety of food and there was nothing missing (a selection of meats and cheeses, jam, cereal, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon etc. ) are everything was very nicely decorated. What I really liked was that it even fresh fruit salad. We didnt try the hotel for dinner but I think it was two different restaurants and bars.

The staff were very friendly and gave us when we arrived and ask for the way to the above P+R parking shown. (The parking at the hotel costs €22.50 per day, which was simply too expensive for us). Although not spoken but very good English. The room was always very clean. The internet in the WestCord Art Hotel is unfortunately not for free, that bothered us a bit. Other than that, we had no services used.

The hotel is right opposite the bus stop, in good traffic the city center in 10 minutes. Very comfortable indeed. However, the bus rides are relatively expensive: 2.60 Euros per hour. Otherwise there is not very much in the surrounding area, is an industrial area, which I think is a good if you come by car. We for example the P+R parking, the circa 5 bus stops from the hotel. Here the parking costs €6 per day, which is contrary to the parking lot at the hotel super convenient.

A city hotel, in which one felt comfortable: fashionable but comfortable. Unfortunately when we arrived was a line up at the front desk, as only 1 staff member was there, so that was connected to the check in, with some waiting. Offer at breakfast was good; the offered food is fresh and tasty. The only bad thing is that the hotel is not centrally located, directly in front of the hotel is a bus stop and you can get to the city center quickly. read more

alternative hotel for a city break, as is located in front of the hotel a bus stop, for 15 euros you get a 3 day travel pass for all public transport. In about 10 minutes you can reach the Hauptbahnhof and almost in the center of Amsterdam. We had two negatives: 1 Parking in the garage 22.50 euros per day. 2 Breakfast with 17 euro per person to expensive. We passed and are 2 stops in the next supermarket just went shopping. In the room there was a small kettle and so was the coffee or tea processed. Positive ... for smokers: There were also rooms for smokers. read more

You can really recommend the hotel. Due to its location, it is only a little for someone who really good on foot. However, a bus stop just outside the hotel. Also taxis are not expensive. We stayed for a drive from the center to the hotel 9 € paid. The rooms were big enough. The cleaning lady really a very good job, was very polite and efficient. The breakfast in the hotel was very plentiful. The Wurst_Auswahl did not so my taste, but my husband's all the more. There were different types of yogurt, fruit salad, bacon, cereal etc. There ... was something for everyone. Check in and check out was fast and without any issues. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel isn't very cheap but they are hotels in Holland never. All in all you can recommend this hotel. read more

The Tulip Inn Amsterdam Art is a very modern hotel, but a bit out of town. It has a open entrance by artists pictures may issue. Immediately may be the steep stairs/anyone who suffers from heights, please use the lift! The whole hotel looks through the accent color purple very feminine decor and cheerful. read more

The room (non-smoking) was very clean, with a very large picture above the bed decorated. It felt very comfortable and modern. The room had carpet, TV, safe, telephone and a kettle to make tea or coffee making facilities. There was no balcony and window can not open- only cigarettes. The Kleiderkasten could be bigger. The bathroom had a bath with a shower, a large mirror, hair dryer and towels are changed every day if requested.

On the ground floor, there was the "Art Café" - a cozy, clean bar and with a large selection of different food and snacks. (e.g. B. Toast 4.50. -; Large beer 5. -) The breakfast buffet we only as 15 - for a breakfast too expensive, in my opinion- we had breakfast then in small cafes in the city.

The staff was very friendly, especially the ladies at the reception gave us advice and help at any time. (Even at half past 2 in the morning! )

  • Sport & Entertainment

Next to the hotel is a public outdoor swimming pool. They are not dependent on sport and entertainment in the hotel - we wanted to experience in the city!

The hotel is located in the district of Westerpark circa 10 minutes from the central station. Away. The drive from the airport to the main station is 4.30 by train and took about 20 minutes. From the station to the hotel we paid by taxi 5. - per person. A 3 day costs 14.50 rapidly. - and is available at the reception desk. is a bus stop right outside the hotel and every 10 minutes. There is a bus.

The hotel Amsterdam Tulip Art is about two kilometers from the Central Station, the turnstile for activities in Amsterdam. Check in is very straightforward as the hotel is very well located for transport. Highway in the immediate vicinity. Amsterdam central station 7 minutes by train. The front desk was small, diving staff speaks English well and friendly. They will help you also love to have many questions regarding evening planning or if any umbrella is used. There are 2 PC - terminals, which one could use for a fee. Free wireless internet throughout the hotel is and the speed is ... enough to recall websites. The rooms are a normal size. With mini bar, electric kettle, tea, TV, telephone, safe and plenty of storage space they are adequately equipped. The rooms are for a 3 star hotel really chic and a highlight was surely the glass bathing area, which makes a bigger room and nice views. With the bus right outside the door which is within 7 minutes in the city center of Central station from where you can either walk or you can walk along with the line 2 stops in the city center. read more
