The complex the hotekkomplexes (there are different hotels on a spot, which, together belong and why all 3 pools can use) is beautiful with a lot of green. 3 large pools offer a welcome variety. The bay is also really wonderful, even if the beach easily overcrowded can be. But it can be in the sea wonderful swim. Only problem were I already described, the from time to time in the bay had lost.
Everything was very clean and really to be comfortable.
We were unfortunately only parents with a child there (mainly German and some englishmen). Friends-constellations there was ... simply not. The hotel is so through and through family friendly, but it is no partyeck. But if you a quiet beach vacation in a well-kept environment with sandy beach searches, is the a very good choice. read more

This was our second vacation in this resort. We had booked again over the Jahn Reisen, but this time we were in block C, front desk Cala Azul building, even though we had a room several mails desire in block H had written. First of all, we were not on the list, then we could change the room very nice, but you spoke at the front desk rather a bad German. Room was clean, but could be renovated a bit slow. Equipment of the kitchen more than poor, no coffee maker, no MOP, freezer in the fridge without gates. We ... had booked half board, so not bothered us. We were able to-thank God-in Cala Azul food, it was a bit quieter and less than in Esmeralda park, but the quantity of the food to last time. Beach and pool nothing to complain about, the beach often dirty, too bad! Children's entertainment somewhat meager for the teens, sometimes you could say no meeting place. Our negative highlight: the waiters on the terrace in the evening at the shows: either more expensive drinks were, we got for the kids, the non-alcohol drinks with alcohol, or wrong drinks were put. And everything without an apology. Otherwise rather a commotion loud area, are many children, very small there, not accessible for disabled people and very difficult to access, children cart, but we were still very good. read more

Very clean, commodious apartments with balcony and good facilities (dining area, kitchenette, tv) in two minute walk to the Cala Esmeralda, one of the most beautiful bays of Cala d'or. Good, reliable service. Helpful, multilingual staff. read more

Very nice family friendly hotel, right on a beautiful Bay. Beach and pool were cleaned daily or every two days. The cleanliness of the room was perfect. Very varied food, including several fruit and vegetables. We would recommend this hotel again at any time again! read more

The first night was a bit noisy, as in the room above us were moved late night chairs. However, we asked on the second day at the front desk, whether we were moved to a different, quieter room with a nicer view can get. This was no problem on the third day. Super Price/Performance Ratio.
Rooms were okay, food was very, very good * evening nice shows, we had a lot of fun*
My only complaint was the stupid our room on the second floor and there were no lifts; =(
But for a three star hotel we were pleasantly surprised...

We were ten days in the studio (with two people). It isn't very large, but it works so exactly. The kitchen is extremely small and poorly equipped. There is no cover for the two pots. A toaster is available, but no coffee maker (!). The complex is large and very neat and clean. The staff is friendly. We had booked without meals, so we can not give the food. There is a small spar shop, where the everyday for breakfast etc. get. Unfortunately, it is very crowded September by the pool and on the beach! We have to get there ... in ten days not managed a lounge chair in the pool area. And after 10:00 o'clock on the beach, there was barely enough room for two towels next to each other. But we loved it and we will be back. read more

The hotel playa esmeralda is located in a great area, which shares itself with the hotel esmeralda park and cala azul park. It is by the end of our vacation not clear former, where a hotel started or ended. There are no clear limits. The Hotel/the complex is perfect for families suitable. In the morning and in the afternoon we for small and large entertainment program offered, in the evening always some kind of show took place on the large stage. The complex ... is very well maintained. It was constantly being cleaned, painted, bewes ert or lawn gemeht. We (3 persons) had a studio with half board, that the space was more than adequate for our needs. The guest structure was young families. 60% English, the rest were Dutch, German, austrian and Swiss. read more

the food in the hotel was great in the hotel. The apartments are badly in need of renovations. The bathroom left much to be desired. And it was a bit of a large noise in the hallways with the doors. Since they have no door pale ☺ ladies the rooms but much trouble given with the cleaning. The complex was very large and clean. And hence major deterioration by the pool and the sea. And as the guests at seven o'clock in the morning the beach chairs occupied with the beach towels, it is still impressive to nine to find ... something.! The location of the hotel is very nice, it is right on Bay Esmeralda of the kids. The apartments of the hotel were good, but many shops, hotels and restaurants in the surrounding area were fine. In the low season is the size of the bay and the pool adequate for the guests, in the summer it will certainly be very busy. The hotel was mainly visited by families with children. The location of the hotel is very good. Directly on the sea in the immediate neighborhood there were two bays are a sandy Bay and one with access to a flight of stairs
(belong to the hotel, can be visited by non-hotel guests) for a wonderful snorkeling. A few meters away is more bays!
By the pool there were always enough Laiegen and a towel borrowing service 1 €per day/15 €deposit!
The only negative was the enormous KINDERSCHAR the parents and their children cry out just. The hotel is rather suitable for families. We thought it would be more in ... September so many kids. Had bad luck! read more

Like last year, we booked again the spacious apartments with two bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as the private pool area in block s and were again very satisfied (this time had the ground floor room S107 with direct access to the pool.)!
But the major downside, the restaurant was or the food! Since we last year in the smaller restaurant of Cala Azul park with outdoor terrace, view of the sea were divided and good food, this was not possible in this year. Due to the low occupancy of the hotel was the restaurant not open and so ... we had large, impersonal, only with Windows and air conditioning under cooled train station restaurant Esmeralda park food. Daily line, overtaxed waiter, around racing-screaming children (don't get me wrong, we also have a pre-school, but the sit at the table until we are finished!), cold and not minced (fish and eggs) check-in! A Shame! The Director could not do anything despite the friendliness and referred to the Inturotelgeschäftsleitung to write! (Is clear!)
Good, but as the apartments have a great location, very clean and completely equipped, at the next time we will book without food, because there were sufficient shopping in the area. You should be so feeling vacation during the meal, this is really an alternative!
If you eat out in, it was a super successful and wonderful vacation, but other avenues of the crowded pools if we really enjoyed! The sea was, with sufficient courage on the jetty away, jumped from the cliff! Otherwise is however the way to the beach was not far away, literally 'around the corner'! So is the Hotel highly recommended! read more
