Room partly worn, curtains with holes, table with strongly worn out tabletops.
However very clean and large room.
Carpet in the hallways partly strongly worn and not on 5 star level.
Spa area was very cramped and small, outdoor pool way too cold.
Nice lounge in the spa with coffee and tea.
Beautiful, rustic bar with very friendly and accommodating staff, great drinks and music.
Evening attractive menus in the evening or extensive were pleasant on friday.
Large choice at the breakfast, however, here in particular with the offered salmon and sparkling wine more on the quality respected.
The ladies ... at the breakfast buffet should here with the bar staff in the direction friendliness and attentiveness schools leave! read more

Stay at the golfhotel Maximilian was wonderful, already especially this e s s e n! Those who still something to moan about has, you can not understand, this was really the finest kitchen! Big praise thus at the whole kitchen staff! Especially good it pleased me, that from 9:00 p. m. a southern two-man band played. There my husband and i like dancing, we also extensively done. Thus it was not boring, because one was well maintained and there was a great atmosphere. We also liked the happy hour at the bar. The beverage prices are a bit high ... (i understand-in a star hotel this is justified), but in this half -price-time you could calmly times 1, 2 or 3 drinks allow! The staff were very accommodating, starting with the front desk employees (one was endeavored, us a different room to leave, after we because of the first assigned room right on the elevator a different room wanted-again many thanks!), at the barkeeper, the two vollblutmusikern, and so on the room was nice and big. Since i was just annoyed, a other guest so rude was to write, he has only 230, -€ for a whole weekend 2. paid and he has' only ' an older room received. He would not stop so stingy be a couple more € drauflegen must at a ' standesgemäßes ' room to get! Well, i can only say anything, the room was great! In the wellness area it would have beautiful been, if the outdoor pool warmer weather, apart from that was this area completely sufficient. Larger, not at all his, with larger thermal baths anyway never use everything. And if you want more saunas wants, can opposite in the wohlfühltherme go. Good we found the free coffee and tea in the sauna area. Anyway, overall a really successful comfort-weekend at the golfhotel Maximilian. We and (several known) will come again! read more

Our short vacation in the maximillian we really liked. The atmosphere was very relaxed and with other guests good to chat. We booked half board and were pleasantly surprised of the quality of the kitchen. Also the service in the restaurant must necessarily when i checked out. Our room was on the 3. floor, was very spacious and the room service was perfect. The pool inside is probably nothing special large, but for our needs more than adequate. The gym could be a little bit better be aired. Overall, we felt so well, that we definitely again the maximillian have ... a vacation are. read more

We are happy, very good money for a 'five stars performance ' pay. Maybe we came at the wrong time on vacation.

In the summer if the golfers and not the participants are, look at the quality certainly completely different from.

The Hotel Maximilian has its has seen beter days already several years behind. The rooms are big enough for 3 people, however really old fashioned furnished the bathroom is too small, to 2. becomes it already closely.
After the arrival we had to leave for our room say, that for the adults a dressing gown is available, for our son however not; immediately to petitioner at the front desk, not sure, whether bathrobes for children and just the smallest make angry leave (then fit). I know that from other hotels with fewer stars different!
Breakfast is from the offer and ... the quality completely reasonable, however i can't understand, why some things (for example rolls and brez'n ) not on time be refilled and the guests partly 20 minutes to wait, until again everything is available.
The thermal baths area is clearly smaller, than by brochures and photos suggested will, the loungers are way too narrow, the whole area makes the impression the k. and k time, as men and women separately for swimming had. For children is here absolutely nothing offered, we were already after short time cautioned, that children maximum 10 minutes in the water for us; this decision i would even leave, especially since we have our son already often in various thermal baths were!
Also the audience is rather snobby, the atmosphere both in the thermal baths area, as well as in the remaining hotel resembles a funeral, all seem on the casket to wait. With children few could bypass, some had to first upset, that surely no nursery is.
All together the hotel makes the impression, as if they the best, and there is nothing more to improve. I cannot agree to that, there is still enormous room for improvement. Only the doorman seems under 'normal mortal' to feel comfortable, with all other you get the feeling, an inconvenience. read more

Appropriate price structure for a 5 star hotel. The decor and atmosphere is more for older audience adequate. In the sauna unfortunately no apology -possibility, since apparently broken, have to longer be the case, but after statement probably only in the summer repaired. read more

Was within a short time is now 4 times over there, this time with my husband, i had a voucher on eBay and my husband at christmas given.
We had a simple standard room, which a renovation necessary need-but nevertheless i must also say, if i for half price prior-then we must also be fair and may definitely not expect first class. Have a review of another guest read, the complained-please be fair and value look at!
I again felt good, room size was okay, but i miss always a 2. chair in the double room

Was now from 04-06,01 in the Hotel Maximilian, was about 15 years already times there, since it belonged to the steigenbergerhotels and was overwhelmed, but today unfortunately no good management, before i arrived i wrote a e-mail, wishes a nice modern room, what we got was a dated room to the street. It is with great rooms advertised and get an old! On the complaint came four different employees, as apparently the reception manager, the told us then only the our coupon we christmas, eBay bought, only for the simple category is valid, we could, of course a better ... room have, cost but for the two nights but 80,00 Euro extra charge. On my e-mail he went not at all a, no excuse, no nothing at all! Has it in no way affected, the coupons but from the hotel sold, or auctioned, price 234, -€

The pool area and of the sauna area are not 5 stars. The saunas are on very close area compact, the strip, behind the door, etc.
In thermenpool should stay due to health reasons 20 minutes not exceed

We came to this long-established hotel gladly again at any time, you just feel great there. At this time of the year were the guests definitely not very young-the indoor swimming pool you could relax. Fun of outside pool, in which you from the inside easy to swim.

Nice weekend, but the pool area way too small and already getting old. The loungers is everything very closely next to each other and were with towels occupied. As well as no beautiful atmosphere in the tunnel to the outdoor swimming pool. The outdoor pool is in an uncomfortable courtyard. Conclusion: for a spa vacation is the pool area not ideal and not 5 star. read more

The building is on the first glance gorgeous! On the 2. view shows, that the rooms in need of renovation are. It noticeable the will furniture and the joints in the bathroom. The separate toilet door in the already small bathroom, although it is very well intentioned, is however very inconvenient, if you to 2 in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet is very varied and leaves nothing to the imagination! The staff very friendly and helpful! The wellness department we could unfortunately not use-didn't have time!
