Great stay except for small problems at the check-in, temporarily disappeared swimwear and small mold in the bathroom. Breakfast superb with freshly squeezed orange juice and Cappuccino on request. Good spa with large sauna, pool with a counter current system and decent gym. Outstanding thai massage by friday Jit. Until at the end of march 2013 will the front desk renovated, which is why it to construction noise can! The great location in the middle of in the center of Budapest but compensated this! read more

We use the hotel kempinski for a stay a three-day city break to Budapest. The journey from the airport to the hotel is with the taxi about 35 minutes and costs with the airport shuttle about 28 €for there and back. Absolutely adequate in our eyes. The reception both in front of the hotel, as well as at the check-in at the front desk was friendly and warm, professional and problemless. Overall very pleasant. Our room was on the 8. floor. The view was unfortunately not especially: we looked out on a construction site across the road. There was noise ... but no. The size and furnishings of the room are absolutely 5 star standard. Cleaning of the room very thoroughly, the evening turn-down service. Just great and totally unobtrusive. The hotel offers a fitness and spa facilities. Here you can say small but sweet: there are cardio and weight machines in sufficient number available. The condition is good and the view from the gym also very chic-right on the hustle and bustle of the shopping street. The pool area is small, but very well maintained. With counter current system and massage nozzles. To purchase and maintenance possibilities one finds directly in front of the hotel. Location so absolutely great! The Budapest-card is worthwhile in our opinion so not, since all reachable in 30 minutes to reach. is. We had the room including breakfast and the was well sunday And asset it could have been around the 30 €per person-that it would not be worth, although selection, taste and quality of the dishes excellent were. Very accommodating is also the drinks were served at the place. Overall: top hotel! Our first choice in Budapest! Necessarily rates (and inclusive services) of different agencies compare! I had a deluxe room without breakfast booked. The hotel looks like new, is very clean and interesting of the form is built. It makes the impression, as if only of high quality materials built up were (woods, marble...) Guests were the various nationalities, however always very pleasant and without jubilation or excessive noise. read more

    I had a very large room with very good furnishing. Flat -tv with direct access to the internet and wireless keyboard, large senderangebot. Absolutely great and large bathroom. Best but i the bed pleased. I have again and again back pain or me is fast too warm... But at the mattress and bedding i slept as on a cloud. Room is very clean and has always very good smell... Possibly have sprayed deodorizer spray like? Wonderful! Air conditioner was silent, on middle stage. Full capacity was not tried. Mini bar always well filled with great assortment. Here was missing the flaschenöffer... Or i in any case not found. But it wasn't so bad.

    I would like in the asian restaurant eaten, however i had simply too little time. I have especially late evenings still a bit in the lounge drinks. Can be absolutely't say anything negative. Everything faultless. I have unfortunately also not from the delicious looking cakes and tarts tried... But it was also late at night still fresh sandwiches are offered. Snacks to beer was of course, as well as made it sweets to coffee. The prices astounded me. The was very cheap for a 5 star hotel with this service. Bravo... Since i took but gladly still a drink more.

    First i must here definitely the staff's hospitality praise! Particularly the staff in the lounge. Very pleasant conversation, very friendly and set up, as well as absolutely competent. Staff at the reception was also very friendly and accommodating. I felt really at ease in this hotel. Cleaning of the rooms 2 times daily and always top! Laundry service and room service was offered, but not used.

    The location is very good. Subway station right around the corner. From the from all three routes can be driven. Shopping, restaurants, banks and sights (for example chain bridge ) within 1-2 minutes on foot reachable. With the metro are 3 huge shopping malls within circa 3 stops reachable. metro drives during the day all 2-3 minutes in every direction. Right next door is the Hotel Le Meridien.

We felt very comfortable. When we went to the front desk came to our room was ready to check (it was 10:30 o'clock). We had booked a standard room, but were given a deluxe room. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. In the front desk you could communicate in German without problems. Other than that, you could, with not perfect English, will help. The rooms were always kept very clean. The bathroom was very spacious and everything was always put them up again (shower gel, body lotion, etc.) the only drawback: when showering alternately hot then ... cold water, and the shower head could not be removed. However, since there was also a bathtub with movable shower head was, we not see that as a drawback. From the hotel there were great excursionto undertake, as the metro stops right nearby are. If one left the hotel twice left takes you to the shopping street. Also not far from the hotel is the chain bridge. The hotel lies really great. The spa area had used my child and my husband. My child said the pool was much too cold. My husband felt but in the spa area with the other offers very comfortable. The offer at breakfast is really nothing from. There was everything you could wish for. Also anytime again freshly refilled. Also the tables were quickly cleared away. It will also more often asked if you had coffee, if everything was okay. I think the hotel highly recommendable. read more

I am December on business for three days in Budapest former. The Kempinski is a very good Choice( next to the direct adjoining le Meridien), to stay central and right in the middle of the life of Budapest. Bars and restaurants are in abundance in the immediate environment available, the only Kttenbrücke around the corner. The hotel is in the rooms classic equipped. Unfortunately I have to say that I this hotel quite disappointed was. With a five star hotel the Kempinski- group you expect a lot more than was offered here. In some areas the expected quality offered, in many places is the service but definitely not the announced category and also the rooms should, certainly once again be renovated. Kempinski Budapest is the case of many organizers with very reasonable prices offered, after my stay I have an idea why. One soillte the hotel therefore only book if one is prepared reductions with the expectations of comfort and service to make. ... If you don't have a full five stars Standard expected and paid less, you can use this house will probably be satisfied. But if you really a 5 star service expected, should go to Budapest for a other House to consider. read more

    Only the breakfast used, which was very good. There was a big buffet with everything you would expect and more( for example every morning champagne). The offered Products were very high quality.     After the positive reviews here and expectations the name Kempinski raises I was from the really offered Service very disappointed. In Particular the service at the reception and from the side the concierges were not at all the standard of a 5-star hotel. Already the check in was very businesslike without friendliness and without any instruction on facilities, like for instance SPA or restaurant. When I got to the room, I regret to say that one of the two window not close properly and therefore noise, as well as cold Air in room. My regarding that Complaint was' professional ' but not really customer friendly treated. After turned out that the defective window could not be fixed, although I a new room offered, there one gave me but always the feeling I not the room not reasonable is (, although the broken window obviously was), but that I just very sensitive and I am, therefore, a more peaceful room would give. An apology for the inconvenience, it was believed that against not necessary. the new room was much smaller and with more simple bathroom than the original-the 'punishment' if you in this hotel weighted. Very unfriendly I have the concierge experienced. I had a clothing and forget the concierge desk after options for shopping asked, there was only the next shopping center orchomenos. In my answer that I was already, but nothing had found, looked the concierge very patronising and said it could not be, called me but mercifully another shopping center. This distance, I was only on demand explains. Further Concierge activities as with corresponding stores call and only ask, whether I have requested clothes also in the offer is, no trace. What is the difference between a concierge, and the staff at the reception a youth hostel? In this case, unfortunately, there was no Other downsides I was then when I checked out. not only that the employee at the reception whilst checking out very cool and downright arrogant was, in particular, the handling of my luggage I am stunned made. In sum was the service but were unfortunately not at all the standard of a five star hotels, so I had an e-mail with the appropriate criticism (and with the positive Points) to the hotel management written. The first reaction of the general manager was also very promising, he answered on the same day (the Sunday) within an hour and apologized. Unfortunately, he headed the mail to the other answer to the resident manager further, whose answer then again not really service-oriented was. A 'professional' friendly, but not really problems budding. The small spare room with capacity because of a major conference in the hotel (' the Yes No reason to entschuldigen' is) said. An apology for the 'downgrade' nil return. The one as a hotel for orendtliche room to see and the capacity constraints not a problem the already badly treated customers should be, that seems manager unfortunately not yet understood, a shame.

    the spa area is quite small, but nice and equipped with everything that you need ( pool, sauna, Steam room, peace Area). Also the area was in spite of the size of the hotel ( approximately 350 rooms) never crowded, but at some times completely empty, so that a 'private SpA' had. That was really very nice and relaxing. The fitness room it is quite small, and especially the Treadmills, cardio equipment ( Laufnänder , bicycles and so on) rich to peak times hardly from. Moreover, the devices not well maintained. The elliptical machine made at all three days I stay very loud noises and was not repaired, although the problem already on the first day the spa- front desk he said.

Kempinski hotel is located in a very central location in Budapest and is the perfect place for a city break. We had a standard double room, the size of the room was fine and the facilities were good. The spa area was not pleased! Very small swimming pool and sauna area very small with a small shower. At the pool kids then romped around three small children, so the pool was full. Sunday afternoon (from 15-18 o'clock) we wanted to stay in the hotel bar/lobby and enjoy a glass of wine. Unfortunately the pianist exactly three hours busy, to vote ... in his piano. It was hard to bear and there seems to be so usual. I expected more from the hotel. read more

    The Double Room was very spacious and had a great view on the park. It was a great large bathroom with a shower and bath tub available. the furnishing was functional and tastefully. The connection was not a problem. flatscreen tv is now standard. the beds were excellent, you can sleep in them very well. the air conditioning is adjustable ;-)

    the food in the conference area was very good. We had a buffet for about 25 persons. The choice and presentation of the buffets was very good taste and optically very good. Worth mentioning is the Nobu: restaurant and bar at the Kempinski. just great, who Japanese like, must as definitely back. The Sushi, but also the other Dishes are a dream for palates and eyes. highly recommendable: Kobe steak! the breakfast was very varied. It is in 2 premises serves, the winter garden is very comfortable, you get something from the hustle and bustle of the streets to see. The only negative the hotel is, that there is no actual usual bar. The Nobu- restaurant is evenings in the front area of the bar. It was somewhat uncomfortable, because the back Area food is served.
