After 2008 and 2011 we were for the 3. time on Bandos, after we have positive experience. My reports from march 2008 and march 2011 ('Stefan') are perhaps still to find. Beautiful island, fantastic beach with lots of palm trees, interesting reef to the entire island, cosy places especially sun- downer -bar. Unfortunately, most of the waiters somewhat pflegmatisch and unmotivated, despite high price level's, there appears to be no participation in turnover. The kitchen staff seemed rather stressed-to other islands there was always friendly faces and a funny lyric from the chef-that was not sunday At the front desk one is likewise inflexible-except the standardprogrammen is not possible. A trip to male for example was despite vielfachem the boat traffic not possible. Unless one pays an utopian price. All in ... all but you can good have a vacation. Clean, all-inclusive, wi-fi only in the lobby free of charge, wi-fi in a bungalow costs money! All people are either in of the lobby or in the adjacent bar! All with mobile phone and computer! Especially russians, chinese, german guests, all meals in buffet form. I would not a bungalow (beach villa) before 120 relate! We had 123 it is outside in the evening very loud from the evening entertainment and the continuously driving boats! read more

Top is the bed. More than that was not there. The air conditioning is right above the bed, if the concerned, one believes a tsunami überollt a right! Initially i thought the until i draufkam it the air conditioning was. Below it was quieter. The child is below an extra bed. Mini bar available. Safe available. Water digester and a soluble coffee and tea in the room. At the top is a balcony. Under the bed was everything ' clean. Bathroom with 2 showers equipped and a jacuzzi in the small garden. 2 sink. Very nice. At night the waves were so loud, that we almost could not sleep!

    1 main restaurant, 2 café and beach bar, very good quality of the food, everything very clean in the restaurant, nationaltypical kitchen, high drink prices, for tip the waiter attentive but otherwise nothing at all. The buffet on 3 nebeneinanderiegende open spaces divided. In the middle were the desserts and the grill. Left and right were each the buffets (both the same). So the people well distributed. Actually there were no waiting times at the buffet.

After 35 years we were on Bandos. Much has done. The infrastructure has much improved. New restaurants were built. The good equipped clinic (with dekokammer ) under german management gives it still. The complete staff on the island is friendly and competent. Man put in so much effort the guests each desire from the eyes. We had a bungalow nearby the diving school. The wonderful beach was only a few meters away. Only the beach in the north-east has the years suffered. The sea at some places in the island dent. Debt will be the rising water levels are. With ... sandbags and breakwaters you try (as well as on other islands) the waves 'herr' to be. The nearby riff is good for snorkelers, as well as you are a diver, although also here the underwater world not more that was, what i long ago found had. The diving school (padi ) is very good equipped. Professionalism in every aspect. We were mainly for snorkelling on the island Bandos. Unfortunately there were only two accesses for snorkelling. At low tide, you could otherwise not over the reef roof as the sea too down is. Several hooks would be an advantage, the reef not to hurt. You had a bungalow on the right side, so you had to in spite of the small island really beautiful long walk. In the afternoon it was very nice in the sunset bar. There was the meeting place for chat and snorkel experience exchange with nice people. read more

For lunch we were in the restaurants where us especially the local dishes really enjoyed have, for children there burgers and pizza. The buffet in the evening was also very diverse and varied, appetizers and soup, different curry dishes, vegetables, grill, dessert buffet with fresh fruit, cakes and creams.     The proximity to the beach was just perfect, a few steps away and we had a small private section at the very good snorkelling left. Everywhere there were pool chairs, towels were always in the room available. The gym there was badminton, squash, a ping-pong table, Kicker and various fitness areas. Children's entertainment we didn't use and but with programs. In the evening there was in the sand bar disco, live music, and more.

Especially great: nobody needs or expected tip, nobody wants to sell you something. For years in this respect the most pleasant vacation! Especially we enjoyed the photos with the photographer the offers will, they have their price, but it is absolutely worth it! Also the dolphin tour was perfect nice and very worthwhile. Apart from that were the excursions us too expensive with 35 $per person, because the real attraction is free of charge ... directly in front of the bungalow in the sea to find! read more

We are therefore very well over the rounds and you can save a lot of money!

    Bandos is a paradise. The nearby riff is simply fantastic. But if you not snorkeling could quickly be boring and is a lot of money for other possibilities for recreation to spend, the offer for this is however very varied. Reef was very beautiful with reef sharks and turtles every snorkel course, as well as very vielfälitigen and colorful fish.

Our third stay on Bandos, in short: still a beautiful Resort! Very good location, bungalows in separated. Categories, very good food, varied, especially good at the sundowners bar. Staff pleasant and always friendly and helpful. Lagoon very good for snorkeling, rif also. Guests mixed, and without children, many Chinese ( sometimes quite loud and usually in groups auftretend ), Russians us Europeans. Short drive to the airport and to male. Excursions varied. We were 2 weeks on Bandos and had nothing to fault! The staff were normally friendly and helpful. Our bungalow was twice a day cleaned, and evenings there was always fresh beach towels. The island is very clean and tidy. The food tastes very good, is always warm and there is a massive selection, so that something for everyone is. We had bungalow Nr. 215, and we enjoyed our beach section there super! All in all it was a great vacation! We can these Island only recommend and would anytime again go on vacation there. read more

The island for our taste very big and in the internal area a relatively large infrastructure. The paths to the other island side, to the pool, to the lobby etc. For maldivian conditions quite far. The instruction in other critiques regarding harassment ( noise from the planes, shipping, trash in the water) because of in the immediate vicinity of the island sometimes be confirmed. The pestering by noise from the planes ( seaplanes) and diving or schnorchelboote adjacent islands was in our opinion representable and that didn't bother us. We can however imagine, that during the peak season the frequency ... clearly will be higher and then it may already pollution. Annoyances by commercial aircraft we could not at all find. Also find almost daily late in the afternoon soccer- and beach volleyball games of the staff and even teams other islands instead. These play it was mostly loud. We personally didn't bother us, although our room right next to the ' sportstätte ' lag. There were all sorts of guests there. At the end of our stay outweighed by the chinese.     We had the standard room and were perfectly happy. Only the floor made a questionable impression, for this the bathroom was for maldivian conditions great ones.     We had the half board and took breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant a. This spread over three round restaurants, depending on the load be opened.     We are avid snorkelers and are already to 7. the Maldives. We thought, that we didn't new more discover and were positively surprised. The diverstiy of fish was wonderful, the reef is easy to snorkeling. Who however on turtles or mantas hopes, the hopes mostly in vain. The staff confirmed however again and again, that turtles available are: we have however only see one. It is probably quite a lot of luck it. The reef fish-rich is, is demonstrated by the daily coming diving and schnorchelbooten adjacent islands. The beach is also for swimmer suitable, at high tide and low tide. The beach in the field of standard room is in our opinion the most beautiful section. From here you have the most beautiful view and the better half of the reefs is here. There was enough chairs and places in the shade. A reservation was not necessary. In the peak season this is in our opinion different looks, since then much more guests on the island and then the fight for the best places run. It is not so alone at the beach, but close to each other. Really bad is, that the loungers not have editions are provided with. We have these thanks Holidaycheck on time in experience brought and therefore inflatable cushions forward. We had the evening trip to the dolphins and had massive luck. We saw very many dolphins, their trick the best gifts. This trip was be price absolutely value! There are a variety of pools on the island, we only seldom used. The large pool was clean and beautiful laid out, there, there are also a pool bar. The other pools we never used them. On the island is also a fitness center with lots of different offered available. There there is also a book corner with a large selection.
