Am the 4. time in the hotel %blank%. Unfortunately in comparison to the voraufenthalten lot to the negative changes. Absolute weak point: issue of beach chairs and towels. With written off hotel are far from enough chairs available. Also efficient reserved (which i had in this hotel to the extent not had to experience). Many chairs are also broken. Partly was shortly after 8 at beach and pool hardly a good pool chair to find. Annoying. The hand towels were mostly old and lumpy, there was new regulations on the return (towels should be until 17:30 o'clock delivered, exchange ... towel against towel the next morning only with much discussion). The problem with the reserved beach chairs was not improved. The happiness of the guests has clearly suffered. 2. weak point state of the rooms. Renovated is not. The most rooms are old and worn. Were because of some reviews rather sceptical, but the hotel are really very nice. Had the luck a really large room to get, the far far away any bar and discos activities was. Since we also at check in requested. The hotel is really clean, the staff super nice and courteous, at the front desk they spoke excellent german. The location is also the best : proximity to the beach and near to cabarete (it is worthwhile, the place to look at!) read more

The hotel is located right next to beautiful sandy beach in front of the gates of cabarete, the kitesurferparadies of the north. The hotel is open-plan, there are rooms in the main building, directly over the dining room, bungalow rooms and rooms at the tangerine palace in directly at the beach. The hotel is already something into the years. And the plumbing desperately need a renewal. Ceiling depends on suspicious down. read more

    We had a room in the tangerine palace taken, because it modern should be. We think the surcharge is worthwhile not. We had a very quiet room with a view of the adjacent pferdestation. The palace lies directly at the beach with a private beach area (orange) and pool. Here there were hardly any beach chairs and these are also of the paying guests of the maraja use. The toilets were usually clogged and the flushing broken. Room size ok, we had 2 king size bed a small closet with a desk and minibar, the furniture but rather old, the bathroom very small with very little counter space and needed renovation. Recommendable is the snack bar at the beach (italian). There you can at a well-kept atmosphere drinks from the glass and snacks. The restaurants are clean, the supply of dishes and drinks mixed.     The cleanliness in the room and in the restaurant were good. The complex makes a tidy impression. The Viva Wyndham tangerine is a beachfront hotel with 273 rooms. The hotel is in the middle of a beautiful park with tropical plants. The condition the building and room is very good, and the whole area is very clean kept. We had 'all inclusive' booked; this created no further incidental costs, except for the safe. We had to 24 €pay rent. The guest structure was international; there were guests from north/central and south america, as well as from many countries europe locally. It was spanish, english, french, german, italian and scandinavian spoken; eastern european languages we didn't hear. All ... ages from babies to old were represented. read more

    The rooms were huge with a very spacious bath. There were 2 large beds, enough storage space for clothes and other utensils, a small not attached refrigerator, in which you every day 2 new bottles of water found. A big balcony with seating rounded the cause. On the desk stood a somewhat older tv. On the Deutsche Welle you could about the main events. Telephone and air-conditioning were available. Over the cleaning of the rooms i already reported. The sanitary fixtures are partially in a bad state and are probably an early renewal. After our arrival we had a room allocated, which in the immediate vicinity a stromstation lag. We had on the first night a considerable noise to watch. After appropriate complaint with the TUI-travel agent we were given another rooms, where it is not so noisy.

    There was a kids club ; a sauna; a gym and a disco. There were enough tennis courts available. From 10:00 to 12:30 and from 15:00 to 18:00 made the hotelanimationsteam in the pool area for entertainment. But this was rather tends art the entertainment more loud than good. We used these times repeatedly for the daily walks on the beach at the marvelous long sandy beach of cabarete. This beach is a real highlight. However the sea on the beach because of the (at least during our presence) very high waves to swim not convenient. The kite surfers even larger fun with the exercise of their sport. Beach chairs and sun protection were by the pool available ; at the beach you had to a shady place under a palm tree search. Because during full utilization of the hotel obviously not enough sunbeds were available, was the annoying habit of the beach chairs reservierens pronounced. We were 16 nights here, it everything was great, the staff and all are really friendly, no matter what you wíll, it you get. The food is superb, always very much and very tasty. The beach is great, the water warm, the hotel is great clean, they are all very friendly and strive. All in all a great vacation, very recommendable, if you peace want it is okay. The hotel consists of several, clear houses with several rooms in it. The rooms are already a bit outdated really, but everything was very clean. In the bathroom were the years to see, a tile was missing and the water in the shower is not really happened, but it wasn't so bad. In 2 lobbies (reception and lobby) there was free wi-fi, what also worked very well. The food was great, varied and you could 2 times per week in the mexican restaurant and italian food, but definitely not must as the buffet is very good. I would advise against ..., too many Cuba libres to drink since the mixture is very different to the german mixtures. There is in comparison 1:10 mixed, 1 partial Cola, the rest rum. Generally more rum than drinking water. The guest structure has in the course of the two weeks as amended. Between the years were mainly american, canadian and swedish families, so the people were relatively young. Mitte january were mainly germans there, the also somewhat outdated now were ☺ the mood in the hotel was very pleasant. I would say, that is with distance the best hotel in cabarete and sosua and the surrounding area read more

The rooms were always clean and the waiters in the buffet restaurant always had a smile on their lips. In the evening you had to though sometimes a bit longer for its wine waiting, but it was still tolerable.

    The entertainment was great! Very recommendable is the show in the evening, absolutely great! During the day were always different games were offered, in which you easily could join in. There is a at the start the entertainers asked, if you cooperating, but if you said no accept it immediately and nerves not further. Absolutely pleasant! The condition the beach was very good, the loungers are a bit old. Very annoying the salesmen with their chests, they are very pushy. At the beach free bodyboards and sup boards in very good condition check-out counters, it was really great!

    The distance to the airport is very good, after a half hour in the bus one is there and the hotel is right next to beautiful beach. Cabarete is not far away, which was quite a walk. Nothing for weak nerves the drive in the 'taxi publico', they are a kind of vw buses, the continuation, if you the street and signs, they are not very expensive, however, the somewhat habituation needy and we sat to 23 igst in a car, which for 10 people already cramped.

    The beach is directly in front of the 'doorstep' but not very nice. The beach vendors are every day definitely 10 times and want their stuff get rid of. There are about 32 of the schmuckverkäufern rum and around 4 to 6 women with hairdos or massages. Otherwise was the beach clean, however one must at 6 get up early if you want a beach chair. The are all reserved in advance. Really beautiful hotel with caribbean flair. Insanely good food and variety! Really clean. Mornings you had to already times its chair, otherwise you get no more. The animation during the day and in the evenings super shows. 2 free wireless zones! A room right on the tennis court, since 2103 it can become already times loud, since the road and gas station and klimaanlagenmotor. However the room to change not a problem! Also a room right on the theater should be avoided, since until 22,30 entertainment is very loud. The location is very varied, one must absolutely barter, everything ... is possible! From 2500 pesos on 500 down! Definitely enough cash or a EC Card carry forward. Not in the hotel change, but outside the bank! Is worthwhile! Average hotel with minor defects, the room was allowed i 2 days change, lots of guests, i became acquainted with, also have changed rooms. The drawbacks were amongst others mold, non-functioning toilets and broken air conditioning. Drinks-especially cocktails carelessly and cheap. Food and cleanliness the room was good. The entertainment has fulfilled its pledge, could however genuine fun and zest for life not communicate. In general is the mood -whether strong decreasing attendance figures in cabarete-not so great. For pensioners and surfer good. For single travellers without intention a flirtation or similar to have not really recommendable. Many excursions simply ... fall and one waits in vain. When one gets then however your money back. Conclusion: if you have a few years ago its fun in cabarete had now be disappointed. Repeat not recommendable unfortunately. read more

Great beach, pleasant staff and clean, but restless sleep run-down. Good food, but tasted only means. Facilitities are relatively small, some rooms therefore the noise from the street, other, as we had noise the show the entertainment until 23 o'clock - sleep unthinkable. Beach is but nice, forever long and broad. The complex is somewhat older and very run-down. Price-performance okay, but go 100 to 200 Euro more and more clearly better received. The beach vendors are a bit. Buffet-restaurant ok, Italian à la carte good (1 time per week free of charge ), mexican à la carte was very ... bad. Drinks are not good. For cocktails etc. Only the cheap locals alcohol taken, all juices etc. Are the typical extremely sweet stuff, even strange tasted. Air conditioning oK, some in the room but gladly times broken, as the clothes line or the grasp of the fridge. Ceiling in the bathroom was upgraded, if the air conditioning worked. Other guests told us of humidity in the ground floor rooms. Safe available, but it costs extra. Free wi-fi in the field the front desk and tour desk. 20 minutes transfer from the airport, cabarete with its shops and bars etc. Is just 10 minutes walk away. Diving center ( hut from wood ) available but mostly too, is also no real diving region. Too strong waves and no reefs nearby, so snorkeling not possible. Surfing or kite is normal. read more

The hotel is very beautiful and offers for a 3/3.5 star hotel an excellent value for money. The offered food is of a very good quality and plentiful. Lots of guests complained about the tough beef. In the dominican republic is the meat it immediately processed and not as at home, air dried. That's why is one or another item quite tough. The nicely arranged area, with its many palm trees and plants, is very clean and well cared for. Cleanliness is in this ... hotel in the first place. The rooms are depending on the location peacefully located. Rooms are a bit noisy, as it is right on the place, that means some rooms are under the restaurant and he bar. Our room was a superior (2517) and renovated and was right next to the kids club and the theater. After the show it was very quiet. Some of the tour operators are also standard rooms offered. As usual, is the check in fast and uncomplicated. The staff the chambermaids to the gardener is always friendly. At the front desk, at the restaurant and the bar partly speak german. Please dear people have a look with the staff, because not everyone spoke/understood german or english. Who in this country vacation makes, should actually a few words speak spanish. Unfortunately, it was for me as a german shameful, that my compatriots complain about, that dominicans with their families at the weekend in this hotel make. The german make in their country! Mentalitätsbedingt the locals were temperamentvoller and love the music. Just join in and have some fun. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation in Viva Wyndham tangerine and will definitely again next year. read more

    The air-conditioned rooms are practically equipped. Our superior room was in a very good condition and not abwohnt/worn. We had two huge beds, a large closet for clothes, trousers etc. With plenty of hangers. In the closet there was also an ironing board and iron. Luggage rack, 2 bedside tables, desk, and a safe were also available. Telephone and tv (Deutsche Welle and to channel 95 a informationssender for sosua/cabarete in german). A mini bar with 0.5 litre bottles of water free of charge available and was replenished every day. There was a large shaded balcony with a table and 3 chairs. The counter space in the bathroom was very small. Clothes line in the bathroom there was available. Towels were changed daily. Beach towels were also available.

There are two theme restaurants (mexican and italian). In the italian restaurant la vela, we have often a pizza according to our wishes make-is not a problem at all. The pizzas are delicious. La vela you can around the hour soft drinks, beer and snacks. For breakfast there were different bread and bread rolls to Croissant, muffins and pastries. Fried eggs, omelets, waffles and fruit juices were freshly prepared. There was sausage, cheese and fruit. The hotel in this price range should logically somewhere savings and that is in the quality a drink. The cocktails, cheap alcohol and juices mixed. The beer was ok. What is more, that all drinks, except during dinner times in the restaurants, in plastic cups are being served – this clouds the taste. We have the rum bought in the supermarket and the Cola at the bar in/out privileges. A liter bottle of rum cost in the Janet's converted 6,30 Euro – a ridiculous price. A really good cocktail or Cuba-libre drink you the best in cabarete, sosua or elsewhere. The morning coffee for breakfast is a matter of taste. Either it tastes or he does not taste. Best one goes straight to the bar and get a coffee. There there is a large choice amongst others also Irish Coffee. This coffee has a constant quality, as he prepared with a coffeemaker. The hygiene and cleanliness in all areas is exemplary.

    The complex is located directly on the beautiful beach of cabarete. The number of hotels in cabarete very little. Next door is a süßwasserfluss, the for swimming invites. There is also a small bar, in the tasty cocktails there is. For the way back can be a motoconcho take. You should definitely a trip to sosua and the beach visit. It is the opposite of cabarete and quite a busy. Sosua in the evening is also a exciting experience. The hotel is a three star hotel good food and plentiful, service very friendly and helpful. Room run-down, room changing in this hotel normal, front desk not helpful, but at the Manager. We had 6 hours flight delay, although the airline company us the room more promised We were from the manager thrown out. The beach is very beautiful, from 14 to 18 o'clock strong wind. The drinks tasted all the same. Was no matter the beer but very good. Breakfast coffee at the bar good. Staff spoke very little English, is however always friendly and smile if you have ... nothing understand. read more
