Le Cardinal Exclusive Resort^{(5 stars)}

The rooms ( in our case a junior suite) are equipped with dark wood and dark tiles in the swimming area appealing but not dark decorated, sufficiently equipped and offer without exception direct view of the indian ocean out ( partly through palms). It was every day on the new fascinating, in the morning when first overlooking the turquoise-blue sea we and evenings ( in August it is on Maritius from late. 6:30 P. M. dark night) the sea the sun swallowed to see. The housekeeping has 2 times/day a good job, in the morning in the cleaning of the rooms and evenings the impact of the bed. A very nice guests. the dinner was heavenly. I have each individual course enjoyed. The internationally angehauchte and with Creole Elements provided kitchen was every day varied, tasty and for the spoiled Stomach. the rooms work on the photo's larger, but are really beautiful and the shower great! the bathtub is nothing special large, but after the beach one goes anyway rather under the shower.

the buffet for breakfast is adequate, however were the fruits unfortunately not always fresh and a little mealy. But you can for a small extra charge and a bit more selection on the balcony Breakfast, which we also often the case. The Map in the evening is large and extensive and all the food was excellent! (A romantic Dinner at the beach is for couples recommendable)

the staff shines through warm and persönsönlichen service! All speak good English, the manager even German. We had problems in our room and had to move to a other, not so beautiful room drag( directly above the restaurant). the management came and we got all drinks and cigarettes the last days charge. however we flew out late in the afternoon and had to for the longer stay in the room include, I unashamedly found.

the pool is enough from the size, however not very deep. sporting activities are in the hotel not offered, here you can but Pedal boats free of charge or a tour with a glass-bottom boat make. the beach is unfortunately very steep so the comfortable couches more difficult. Unfortunately, the beach quite stony and in the water there are many coral to snorkeling great is, the normal Swim however nearly impossible power. the hotel lies on a street, all rooms but to the beach and have a great view of sea. the hotel is altogether very clean, alone the water in the pool was during our stay slightly cloudy. Unfortunate is that next to the beach of the hotel the public beach and with its plastic not nice to look at.

Drive from the airport to the hotel took depending on traffic about 1. 15, which after a long flight but still tolerable. the next options for shopping are around 20 minutes away on foot away. If you like we drinks concerned, can for 200 Rupee with the taxi sit back drive.

GREAT! We had a 86 meters²-duplex suite, just great was. From both areas one dreamlike sea view. From the very large bathroom you had a great view of the sea. bath tub also with a view of the sea, but because of the water shortage on Mauritius not with a clear conscience to use! safe, kettle, A/C, Wiki, everything available. In addition to the A/C there are fans (who No AirCon like). very large double bed with window mattress and really good verdunkelnen curtains, so in the morning you at best from the Krakelen the Ara's will probably be woken up, but not by the incident light.

We have evenings because of the mosquitos, preferred to eat inside, but the morning breakfast we always on the terrace with a dream view among palm trees on the sea enjoyed. the only thing what for breakfast should be modified, are the small skillet üfr the jams, the no lid and immediately upon leaving the table from the birds be occupied. But the breakfast offers everything you imagine, all egg-Dishes are cooked to order. the food evenings (3-courses- menu) which from 7:30 P. M. served, has a very high standard. There was a lot of with fresh fish and also pub, fresh Food cooked, what great tastes. From and To you miss the Creole'Spice' , the most likely prefer for us Europeans simply is omitted, since many it not spicy like. The drink prices at the bars and in the restaurant the 5 star standard more upscale (glass of white wine about 10 euros,-) but you should know that Yes, if such a hotel bay.
