For a overnight stay ( for example on the way from La to San Francisco or vice versa good. Nothing really special, room is modern furnished, but for American standards not exactly huge.
WiFi is free (but you have to enter a password, which one at the front desk but anfragelos gets).
The bungalows are motelartig designed, that means the car you can in the immediate vicinity the bungalows parking (parking is free). In the immediate area there is no possibilities for going out, no Starbucks or something like that. Shops you will find on the pier (the road the ... main street ( Abrego St) further consequences to to the sea. Pier one reaches then after about 15 minutes on foot. The former ' Sardinenstraße ' ( today with some restaurants equipped, as well as the sealife), the Cannery Row is within walking distance in about 30 to 40 minutes to reach. Altogether no beautiful town, really worth it just for a overnight stay.
In Eingangsbeeich is a small restaurant not small prices:-)
Early in the evening it was the receptionist not possible me a 50 Dollar Traveller check to change. Speaks definitely not for excellent service.
Worth seeing is the nearby Monterey located 17 miles drive, a private street with beautiful view of the sea and many luxury golf courses (such as the ' Pebbles '). The entrance on the 17 miles drive costs 9 Dollar. read more

We have here for one night stop made, the hotel has a nicely kept complex, the rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Also the pool was clean and well maintained. In short: nice hotel for families and for a stop very suitable. read more

Have on the way from San Francisco to la one night spent in this hotel. The room was brilliant and peacefully located. The pool in direct vicinity small but sweet;-).
Directly opposite of the hotel there is a gas station and Denny' s. there you could eat very well. The famous Monterey bay aquarium is by car 10 minutes away.
Breakfast is not in the night included, but for $9.95 additionally booked are. The buffet has a wide selection and is for the price really reasonable.
Especially recommendable is in port the fishellestaurant 'old grotto' ( around 10 ... minutes away on foot). read more

The hotel looks from the outside inviting... And the rooms hold the first impression beach. Big room, sufficiently furnished. The hotel lies on good location, to 15 minutes hike one is at the Fisherman's Wharf. We liked it. read more

Small 'motel' nearby the city center. Was the second time in the hotel Abrego and would highly recommend it. The rooms are modern and tastefully furnished, clean and relatively large. The restaurant is not so well visited-but the food taste and the quality of the service. I would recommend this hotel as a stopover only. read more

We were there at the beginning of September 2011 and were very pleased with our choice! The rooms were the best, which we had on our trip. They are very spacious, the bathroom was very new with a completely new modern facilities and there was a fireplace, big screen tv, as well as a refrigerator. The breakfast for 9, 95 $we can highly recommend-it was cereal, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, muffins, coffee, tea. We chose this hotel as a stopover, to drive the 17 mile-drive, the weather in any case. At the end you can Carmel beach very ... nice a small break. During our stay everything was great. read more

Nice Hotel between Los Angeles and San Francisco. City, shops, restaurants within walking reachable. About 30 minutes port Denny's Diner (from about $eight), across the street. Some rooms with fireplace! September good time. read more

Are on the move from Santa Barbara to p. F. landed in Monterey. Was the only place that had rooms available, a bit more expensive than the hotels in the area, but also modern and better. Price/performance ratio was right. Friendly check-in/check-out, all without any problems. Free parking directly in front of the rooms. Directly across the street from a few restaurants available. Pool and hot tub available, quiet and relaxing (beach towels at the pool inclusive). Rooms are very large and modern furnished (including coffee maker). Bathroom also large and clean. Hotel is a bit loud (to the passage ... of the hotel, not from the rooms). The food offer I can say unfortunately nothing, no meal served in the hotel. Breakfast is not included in the price. The hotel can easily recommend. If you're passing through, this hotel well served. There were also some guests there, which is several days in this hotel-nothing negative to have. read more

We were two weeks in California. In La at the Sheraton in a best Western was really great but the hotel! At check-in was the gentleman at the reception was very friendly but has so quickly and clearly its text had to ask several times down chattered. We have a free upgrade to a room with fireplace large get fully booked. From the outside it looked really great when we the room also entered but then it started. The bathroom smelled like urine has it so, next to the desk was an old apple on our blanket was red lipstick ... and my daughter is the junk under the bed fallen and what bus takes you instead of the junk under the bed out? A large green, geka buildings gum with dark long hair on it. Luckily we were only a night and I had my sagrotan disinfection spray as which I have used immediately. It was really only disgusting! At check out I mentioned it to the friendly lady, which meant they would say it the boss and transfer a credit card may be over. Empty promises to the guest first to calm down. read more

Best hotel! And the, although the others were also almost all good. Very beautiful and modern hotel area. We had a upgrade on a fireplace. Pool was also class. The staff was very nice. Despite favorable USD 9.95 breakfast have we Danys taken on to us. Visit to Monterey drive (3 miles) seaside. Runaway beach promenade. read more

We were a night at the hotel ' Abrego '. For the price we had paid the, we were very surprised, how nice the hotel is. The room were large, the bathroom was bright and very clean. Another was the free wireless Internet. Was also very clean the pool area and well maintained. The water was pleasantly warm. This hotel you can book on each case without hesitation! Also the parking was free. The next time we visit in Montery I will certainly book this hotel again! read more

The hotel is very, very beautiful decorated, you feel very comfortable in this hotel. The room are clean, everything is very modern and beautiful decor. The bathroom has a decent size and also the pool looked, at least from the outside looked very inviting.
We have breakfast at the hotel for 10 $per person. Certainly not the cheapest but was very tasty. Also the lobby is eaten, a very pleasant atmosphere. At any time gladly again. read more
