General description: Jesolo LidoJesolo Lido (official name - Lido di Jesolo) is the beach area of the commune of Jesolo situated approximately 30 km from Venice. This purpose-built beach resort is one of the most famous holiday spots in Italy. In Jesolo you can both have fun in numerous discos, bars and nightclubs, as well as relax on sandy, well-managed beaches marked with the Blue Flag.
The 13 kilometres long promenade tempts with hundreds of hotels, restaurants, shops and discos and attracts mostly singles wanting to have playful, entertaining holidays. The sandy 16 kilometres long and 150-200 metres wide beach is also perfect for couples and families with children.
One of many attractions in Jesolo Lido is the famous Aqualandia (usually open from late May to mid-September), providing hours of fun. A golf course and a karting track are also there to the delight of sports fans.
Another attraction in Jesolo Lido is a large and very interesting fishing port and a marina where in the summer season impressive fireworks shows are often held.
