General description: Spice Bazaar / Egyptian BazaarThe Spice Bazaar or Egyptian Bazaar could be found in the Eminonu quarter, in the city of Istanbul. It is located in a long hall building that belongs to the New Mosque complex. Bazaar was built in 1664 by architect Koca Kasm Ağa. It represents one of the biggest bazaars in the town. There are about 85 shops and stalls selling spices, cheese, jams, jewellery, bags, souvenirs, dried fruits and nuts.
The bazaar is open daily. From Monday till Saturday 9am - 7pm and on Sunday from 10am till 6pm.
