General description: Vada Beach
Vada has a long, 5 kilometre stripe of sandy beaches, descending unto clear waters. Such a setting of course attracts a multitude of tourists every year. It has the prestigious Blue Flag status.
There are public and private beaches alike in the area. At some point in history, Vada was the port of Volterra, dating back to 330 BC. Nowadays, tourists (and locals) may indulge in local
specialties (mainly seafood), and participate in numerous activities, such as sailing.
