Reviews: Turgutreis Bazaar
General description: Turgutreis BazaarTurgutreis Bazaar
The town of Turgutreis is located on the Bodrum Peninsula on Turkey's Aegean Coast. Every Saturday, it is a place hosting an extraordinary bazaar, attracting crowds of not only tourists but also locals.
Not only is this the largest trade fair in the whole peninsula, but it is probably also the most colorful and lively one. Its large part is occupied by local sellers of different goods and delicacies, such as seasonal fruits, as well as goat milk, cheese and olives. At the bazaar you can also buy clothes and a variety of fabrics.
Turgutreis bazaar is especially recommended for people who like to haggle and want to practice this skill - this is a mandatory part of buying here, as in all other fairs in the region.
How to get there
How to get to this extraordinary market? The easiest way is to start on the main street of Turgetreis and head towards the beach. When you reach the mosque, you should go to the west
