Take a trip into Space
The Museum is a center of research into the the history of science of spaceflight and aviation as well as space geology and geophysics and the science of planets. Most of the exhibits are originals and many special exhibitions take place here. There was a lot of controversy in 1994 when the museum proposed an exhibition to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the atomic bombing in Japan. After many discussions and arguments it went ahead but was greatly reduced. The exhibition is now closed but you can still see the Star Wars exhibition.
Daily 10am - 5:30pm
Closed: Christmas Day
You will need to buy tickets for the different exhibitions at the museum including the Planetarium and the flight simulators. Buy your tickets as soon as you arrive as they sell out quickly. For all pricing details visit the website.
