A place travelers can visit Galata Bridge
Reviews: Galata Bridge
General description: Galata BridgeThe Galata Bridge is a bridge located in the heart of Istanbul, spanning the Golden Horn from Karaköy. The present Bridge, which was built in 1992, replaced a much-loved pontoon bridge dating from 1912 that gently swayed as the seas moved beneath it.
During the day, the bridge transmits a continuous flow of locals crossing to and from Beyoğlu and Eminönü, a few hopeful anglers trailing their lines into the waters below, and a constantly moving march of street vendors hawking everything from fresh-baked goods to cheap souvenirs
There are many restaurants and cafes that serve drinks and food all day and night. Located underneath the bridge.
