Magan’s Bay is on the Caribbean islands St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands.
The Bay can be reached by taking the bus from the harbor. The return ticket costs $16 per person. The beach itself costs $5 per person for the entire day.
The bay features white sand beaches, stretching for three quarters of a mile. Due to the beaches northwestern exposure the waters are usually calm. Snorkeling is not idea as the bottom is quite sandy.
The Nature Conservancy created a trail to Magan’s Bay from the road in the hills above.
There are also snack counters, bars and souvenir shops. You can rent lounge chairs, floats,windsurfers and small boats.
You will also find changing rooms, toilets and showers.
Throughout the year St. Thomas has summer weather. Temperatures range from 73 to 89 Fahrenheit. The most rain is usually during the months of May and August to November.
