Its capital Barcelona is the most densely populated city in Spain. In Catalonia, a range of languages spoken Catalan and Castilian as the main ones.

Weather

The confluence of several factors, namely its location between the temperate and tropical climate zones and between two seas and their geographical range, makes Catalonia a country that shows a wide diversity of climate. This tradition has pagan origins, Valencia has its origin in the Moixiganga, which is a collection of dances and human towers.

The Sardana is considered the national dance of Catalonia. Performed by groups in a closed circle for couples who hold hands. Today, it is usually a tourist attraction but also demonstrates the Catalan cultural identity.

Hotel Catalonia Born in Barcelona, Catalonia

I was with my son on city trip. We had a very quiet room on the top floor. Room and hotel lived up to our expectations, everything was okay; had no complaints. The hotel is ideally located for both business. Metro, buses, etc. in the immediate vicinity. Adjoining the Gothic old town, Arc de Triomphe, a large park, ideal for children and at the end of the parks in the zoo. But you can also from the hotel without further to the port, Rambla, placa Catalonia walking. Gastronomy in the hotel I ca... Read more

The rooms are different. At first we had (on request) a full ocean view room on the 5 . Floor (7 floors). After we had moved into this, we noticed that this is no smoking room. So we are then take the third. Moved floor, where the smoking rooms are. The hotel makes a very intact and well-kept impression. We stayed for 4 nights incl. breakfast end of August 256 - £99 and were very happy with the price-performance ratio. The size was sufficient. Unfortunately, there was no balconies! The furn... The hotel satnds up because of the location!!! Also the foyer is very inviting, the staff nice, the pool is nice and in the rooms you feel great right away - we would always stay there again!!! For the price, the Albinoni cannot be beaten. Size was absolutely sufficient, facilities as well. Everything very dark but stylish, new, clean. Unfortunately, we had no balcony - if you the back, you won. The window to the street but are great isolated, so you don't be bothered by noise. The staff wa... Read more

It depends what kind of room you get. There are rooms with a view over the city to the 3. Floor in the same courses but also rooms with windows facing the street level of the exhaust of cars. All rooms are could be air-conditioned (which worked very well), but for a longer stay almost too small. Presidente Städtetourist you can use the hotel still good, as were only going to be sleeping. The breakfast was adequate, could miss wide variety. There wasn't a pool and free time activities are scar... Read more
