Hotel reviews for hotels in Central Switzerland
The hotel enjoys a central location close to the old town of Luzern, the bridge and the shopping street are only a few minutes' walk away. Especially suited for couples who want a romantic short break want to spend. The romantic dinner on the own terrace in the junior suite we will definitely in our best memories. Minor downsides were the unclear drafting of the bill and the somewhat dirty passageway in the bathroom. In any case, it has earned the hotel the title 'romantic hotel' fairly. Read more

We have a extended weekend felt comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers delicious regional cuisine and a lot of choice. We had a large room with a bathtub and a large corner balcony with a wonderful view of the lake. The Turkish offers warmth after a long day out in nature. A must is a trip to the Riggi, the only female mountain in Switzerland. The Rack's walking distance from the hotel for those reachable. The restaurant has a great view of the lake. The restaurant is comfortable, as well a... Read more

nice, very central convenient grand hotel. We had a standard room on the street side, but the air conditioning was relatively loud. We could but the window in spite of street noise during the night good open and still sleep. Furniture in the standard rooms wonderful old fashioned but with new upgraded technology. Large bathroom with double sinks. The hotel features a restaurant (during the summer terrace on the ground floor right on the lake/promenade), a very sophisticated bar and three rest... Read more

This is an owner-managed informal hotel. The three stars are absolutely justified. We especially like to highlight the friendliness of the staff and the excellent 4-course meal in the evening, the four stars would have earned. We enjoyed the ski area street niveau heated ski boot and care program there is a children's play area and a very nice wellness area. Furthermore, free Wi-Fi. The last review I can't confirm: in the hotel there were mostly families, mostly from Switzerland. The location... Read more

I have Christmas and the new year in Lucerne spent and I felt very comfortable in the hotel Monopol. The hotel lies super central location, close to the train station, two minutes walking distance from the mooring, five minutes from the beautiful old town and the bus station in front of the door with very good connections in all directions. I had a room facing the sea with a fantastic view. An escalator which takes you directly from the hotel train station with many shops. Even at Christmas a... Read more
