best location on a hill with views of the Pacific ocean. Huge, four gardeners permanent well-kept park with toucans in the palm trees. Huge pool. We were a family of three on vacation so we had a large room with two kingbeds, terrace with view of the sea, table and chairs and hammocks strung between palm garden us. The bathroom has no window, but the ventilation worked well. The level of cleanliness in the bath and the room very nicely furnished, there are chest of drawers, closet, coffee maker, free safe, a fan, a seating area and air conditioning (which should remain, as this is the extreme humidity from the room away) all in all Ins... Great location, relaxing atmosphere, delicious food
Hotel Lookout at Playa Tortuga in Ojochal, Costa Rica Pacific Coast
Birgit and Uwe, the operator of a hill overlooking the Pacific ocean located informal the hotel, are always available and for all helpful. Highlight of the hotel is located next to the excellent food a rooftop observation deck, on the one on the sofa very cozy. It has a wonderful view of the coast and in all likelihood toucans land in the tree next door. Read more

The hotel stands out from the general to the standard rooms. Nothing to complain about. The check-in process was unsatisfactory. In a country such as Costa Rica must be possible, for breakfast they served fresh juices and fruit to each of the applications from the breakfast menu (rather Spartan way offers) to be enough. Nice little plant getting old is, nice rooms in the new buildings, in the old houses is still lagging behind. The pool area is nice, but also here the ravages of time. Food was good. Service staff was mostly very friendly. On weekends, many locals in the hotel, which of course in the restaurant for waiting. Which is noticeable, that is the Costa Rica guests to the meals almost ostentatiously preferential treatment (table, drinks and clearing service). What we found a shame. For a week of swim...
