In the evening on the roof of the hotel Melia Santiago de Cuba with good cigar and mojito with view of Santiago de Cuba alone is an unforgettable experience! Room spacious, the bathroom was okay. It was the best hotel of our round trip from east to west with Thomas cook! We stayed in Cuba on a tour and have three nights in this hotel spent. For breakfast you could have scrambled eggs, omelets, waffles fresh and otherwise it was all conceivable food. It is a bit of a walk to Havana, however therefor it is very quiet. In the last floor (think was 11. Floor) is a bar, where you can get a total nice view. At the beach we were not however no inviting impression. The pool was very clean and the size was okay. Read more

During our Cuba tour were our trip a grupe night in this area. There were just bungalows. Single travellers were in the most bungalows, which for some women really was a challenge. The pillows smelled musty, respectively. We were a group of 33 people and I have to say that the check in was very efficient. Also we were satisfied with the food. Was enough food for everyone and also enough choice. For a night the property is okay. Read more
