It was a little B&B Pension, no hotel. Very nice, the owners were more than kind. we wish them all the best for the future! They have renoved the old wooden house in the green surroundings with love. The rooms were small but big enough. The breakfast was good, you did not miss anything. The onliest minus was: you could easily hear your co-inhabitants - but if they were quiet, so: no problem! From my room in the 14th floor I got a great view over Gothenburg. The room was really spacious with a huge flat-TV and a big bath-room with bath-tub. Free wireless Internet was slow, the Ethernet connection didn't work and the hotel staff couldn't get it working.
The breakfast buffet was okay, but not extraordinary.
The hotel is next to Svenska Mässan, Liseberg and just a few minutes from the main shopping streets. Read more

The rather small room is supplied with the necessary things: Small flat-TV, rather slow WIFI-Internet access. The bath-room is neat, but small.
Breakfast-buffet is good, but not exceptional.

Although I booked a single room, I was put up in one of their apartments with a living-room, kitchen, 2 bed rooms and two rather small bath rooms. Another draw-back was that it took approx. 2 minutes till there was warm water coming out of the tap. The cleanliness of both the bath-rooms was not very good, a lot of dust and hair. When first entering the apartment, it was rather cold and it took a while till it warmed up.

The stay in Clarion Hotel Wisby was quiet enjoyable. Although I stayed there on a business trip, I could very well imagine to come back for a holiday. The hotel is in the old city of Visby, a world heritage site. The hotel, itself an old and beautiful building, has a nice pool and sauna area and a nice bar. The breakfast buffet is really good and the room is furnished with taste. Read more
