GENERAL: The Novi - resort is in the Kvarner bay between Crkvenica and Vinodolski up a steep hill with a nice view of the island of Krk. We (family with 2 children) booked in July 2010 and have an apartment because of a booking mix-up of the hotel upgraded to a 'large' apartment-house (90 m2). Wonderful the sea view from the apartment and size. There were 4 air conditioning with remote control and 2 flat-screen TVs. The hotel has 6 floors. We had a room in the 5 . Floor and a lovely view over the Kvarner bay. So make sure you should book a room on the sea side. Also the rooms are much larger than the rooms to the street side. (We had a room to the side of the road. ) The size of the room was about 30 square meters (226 square feet). The hotel has 130 rooms. Hotel is a typical communist disk's building, which is however already given to the purge price. Unfortunately also the plant is not maintained approximately around the hotel, so that one can hardly still be under the trees. There usury stinging plants. Ways in the plant partly collapse and are already closed. By attached the Bungalows are no longer habitable half and collapse. The bill of fare during the 14 days changed only with the name of the meals. Was it always the same.

The hotel Istra is located directly between the main road toward Lovran, island Cres, Pula and the Adriatic coast right on the water. The center and then to Opatija was just a few meters away. We were lucky enough to get a parking spot in front of the hotel. They are in the whole place very rare. The hotel was already a bit old but still not very bad. The hotel is beautiful at the Kvarner bay. According to the brochure you from all rooms and suites a clear view of the sea. I can't recommend this hotel if you are looking for peace and quiet. We we were staying at a Robinson-Club felt everywhere, playing and accordingly loud children, the "wellness" area of the hotel area. Beach chairs and umbrellas had lots to a few available.
