TAHEIMA the resort we visited.
It is located inside a private, gated-community
which has a private beach club very close by.
It takes a mere 3-4 minutes to get there
if you take the shuttle ride from the lobby.
Taheima is a condo-hotel so the hotel rooms
are actually fully-equiped condos.
Everything is new, clean and confortable.
One of the best things at Taheima is that it is a quiet,
peaceful, and an extremely clean resort.
The setting is very sophisticated.
The entire reso... Read more

We spent our honeymoon (1 week) in “La Quinta Troppo”.
The arrangement, the staff and the wonderful atmosphere made it very hard to even leave the hotel.
It is only a 5 minutes’ walk to the beach (where to find various restaurants) but the hotel is situated so well that you can overview the whole bay while staying away from the crowded tourists-areas right at the beach.
Rooms are elegant and very comfortable. We had “Los Tucanes” with the most stunning view over the bay but I´m sure tha... Read more

Hotel Eloisa has a really good location, close to Ollas Altas beach in the southen part of Puerto Vallarta center. The room we stayed was rather dim and simply furnished. Window was open onto the inner courtyard, also dark and narrow. I am not sure if other rooms have a street view, but, seems, most of them on all five floors do not. In the night there was rather cold in the room, so defenitely there were no need in aircondition. Even by day due to dark and narrow courtyard there was cold. Br... Read more

I moved to this hotel from another one looking for a cheaper option to stay in Puerto Vallarta. Hotel satisfied our expectations. Good value for money. Located in Southern part of central Puerto Vallarta, so called Zona Romantica. A bit far from the beach, about 10 minutes walk, but good for strolling around old calles of Vallarta, close to various restaurants, cafes, bars and so on. Many tacos stalls are also in the vicinity. Local buses provide easy access to airport and main bus station. H... Read more

Cheap hotel located near Zocalo, in the central part of Acapulco. A bit far from main beaches. We didn`t book it in advance. Just asked a taxi driver to get us to nearby hotel Asturias when arrived by bus in the morning to Acapulco. However Asturias was full at that moment and we were tired after night bus trip to look for anything else, so decided to check-in in Angelita. It was also mentioned in our guidebook, looked clean and was cheap. Afterwards we found it quite acceptable and spent th... Read more
