Hotel reviews for hotels in Nicaragua
We were hoping for a romantic getaway and we got one!! Our room had a classic colonial style, as did the rest of the hotel. We were able to cool down in the pool and get massages at the spa. It was the perfect place for the kind of vacation we wanted. Our stay at the La Bocona Hotel couldn't have been any better. Read more

13 basic rooms with tiled bathrooms, balconies either facing the Pacific (on the beach) or facing the village (shade). Clean. A huge inspiring great room is filled with incredible artwork by contemporary Nica artists and it was hands-down the most relaxing place that we visited on our month-long trip. Breakfast is not included, but for $35 / night with AC we weren't really expecting that anyways. The clientele were well-to-do Nicas, expats, and random travelers and tourists from Canada, the U... The hotel owner was friendly, helpful in advising us on the local areas and we spent time surfing on a beach that is also home to many Tortuga sightings. Food was great, rooms extremely affordable and we felt that it was strange more people did not come to the town. Highly recommended for the backpacker, surfer, or even fishermen as the... Read more

I stayed at Hotel Spa Granada for a couple days with my boyfriend as we were traveling through Nicaragua. First of all, the building is beautiful and very large- it's an old colonial mansion that was converted into a hotel. I talked to the cuidador and apparently all the tiling, roofing, etc, is original. It's really impressive looking. I stayed in one of the larger rooms with a king-size bed, which was definitely one of the more comfy bed situations I had while traveling through Nicaragu... Read more
