B&B Hotel Calais Coquelles in Coquelles, Nord-Pas-de-Calais
Friendly owner welcomes you. Considering the price of 37 Euros (internet rate!), this is excellent value for money. Everything you need for a one-night stopover to or from Britain is there, and I can't imagine anyone coming there for any other purpose as this is not a holiday hotel. We've had another hotel in the vicinity (on the way back!) which was no rival even though it was much more expensive. Read more

The Best Western Grand Hotel Bellevue is a great hotel situated near the Grand Place about 100 mtrs. from the old city, and about 800 mtrs. from Flandres train station. It is on a fairly busy street, but because the hotel is well insulated this is no problem. It gives a somewhat old-fashioned but well maintained, solid impression. In my opinion Hotel Ibis Dunkerque Centre is a good value of money. Clean rooms, friendly staff, very large breakfast, good location in the city center, free internet (even worked on the top floor). Not a picturesque view out the window and slightly scratching walls in the bathroom reduce an impression. Read more
