We have young kids and a dog and there is a vast difference in types of places you can stay that accomodate everyone. The Cannon Beach Hotel has a sister property called McBee cottages that takes dogs so we booked there. I would not recommend this place or any of it's properties to anyone! We arrived on a friday night to find our room literally had what looked like squished in dog poop on the carpet in 3 places. Disgusting!
