Moving around the areaAirports
The International Airport Charles de Gaulle Airport is the number one in France. It is in Roissy, 25 km from Paris.
Its management is performed by Aéroports de Paris.
CDG airport is connected through the RER, TGV and Thalys. In addition you can also use the bus Air France, Roissy, RATP Bus, Bus Noctilien, minibuses and taxis.
The other airport is Paris Orly and is 14 km from Paris. It is used mostly for domestic flights.
From Paris Orly airport, you can take the RER C or shuttle that runs every 15 minutes from both airports.
Trains
Transilien-SNCF is the company that manages the 1300 km of commuter rail tracks.
The RER
Communicating Paris and its metropolitan area, the 5 lines of RER (Réseau Express Régional), spread over 580 km and transported every day to 2.7 million passengers.
The Metro
Since opening its first line in 1900, the Paris subway system has been developed extensively. It consists of 16 lines connecting 381 stations and transports over 400 million people everyday. The metro network operates throughout the year from 5.30 am to 1h15, with an extension until 2h15 on Fridays, Saturdays and bank holidays.
The buses
Managed by the RATP and with more than 80 private operators within the federated association Optile, the bus network has 1200 lines and is 23,000 km long.
At night the bus is called Noctilien (night) and consists of 42 lines in Paris, to the Outskirts of Town and within it. From the hours of 0.30 to 5.30.
Tram
It came back into fashion in 1992 with the opening of the T1 line between Saint-Denis and Bobigny, it has served as a response to increased use of public transport. The tram network in the Paris region has 4 lines (T1, T2, T3 et T4) and more than 40 km.
Vogue river transport
Vogue takes a regular route plying the Seine and the Marne, between the Gare d'Austerlitz, Paris and Maisons-Alfort (94), year-round from 7 to 21h (10h-20h weekends and holidays). Single tickets are sold on the boat.

the hotel had 4 stars, but I don't know how you came. It was nice but it stank and was not at all as on the website beschireben. But there were all nice and the buffet was also good.

the hotel has 6 floors with 30 rooms. The lobby and corridors were clean except acceptable. The meitsen hotel guests were to our time French citizens.
The bathroom (425) was moldy, room cramped (but are in Paris yes normal), window could, if at all, only a gap wide open- the air conditioning the air so dry, that I directly the next morning a cold woke up. If you want a two star hotel in Paris, the timhotel Montmartre more than good served.
the rooms are small, but well equipped and very clean.
the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
