We had a deluxe room #455 which was very spacious (~ 60 sqm). However the space could have been better utilized for example for a proper sitting group. Who needs two writing desks?
The location of the television was bad for watching it either from the bed or the chairs. In the middle of the room there was shelves where was all the necessary cables for a television installed. It would have been an ideal place for a rotating television. Now there was only a small stereo set.

We had a spacious one bedroom suite #233 which was functionally furnished. Only minor complaint is very dirty windows with bird excrements etc. The views would have been greater with clean windows.
On the top floor there is a lovely sun terrace with a bar. And a spa with with a pool.
The breakfast was excellent.
There was a noisy wedding party going on in Saturday evening. We could close the bedroom door to keep the noise out.

The Mercure Hevelius is everything you'd expect from a 4 star hotel in terms of service and comfort, greeting its guests with an elegant lobby and an upscale atmosphere where old meets new.
