Rome is the capital of Italy and is one of the oldest capitals in the world. The Romans ruled their “global” empire from Rome and for hundreds of years it was revered and feared by those the Romans had conquered. That confidence in art, music, food, wine and romance exists today.

Sights
The centre of Roman is full of historical sites including the Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s finest piazzas, which offers three amazing fountains and the baroque Church of Sant'Agnese. The piazza was once called Circus Agonalis and parts of the original Roman sports stadium can still be seen.
Other magical sights in Rome include the Pantheon which was built in the 2nd century AD and has one of the largest domes in the world, complemented by three rows of columns and a magnificent bronze door.
There are too many wonderful sights and piazzas in Rome to mention them all but those that should be visited include the Colosseum and Piazza Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Colonna and, as mentioned above, the Piazza Navona.

the hotel is, as already other have described, a bit shabby, but clean. Our room had a normal size of 16 square meters and renovated bathroom.

small hotel on the third floor a historic building. The location right on the square is ideal for Rome visitor, focusing on the Vatican is. Terrace on the fifth floor with great view on the Peterplatz. From there you can get to the window observe, from which the Pope seine Sunday Prayers stops. We are however rather on the space left.

cIRCA 30 rooms. Our room (107, first floor) was already a bit shabby, but very clean. The size of the room was all right (20 square meter), also the bathroom was quite large( toilet and bathroom in a room). In addition the room as one of the few on a large balcony.
