The hotel is rather basic. However, it is clean and has a stress-free stay. Unfortunately differ the rooms quite (size, balcony, bath tub). The breakfast buffet is very recommendable. For 15 euros you should ask a lot. There is a wide choice and plentiful drinks! I am very pleased and for a short stay in Salzburg, I would choose the hotel again. Read more

We only stayed one night at the Crowne Plaza and only a special price without refund. Generally, the hotel was very nice and is also located very central in the old part of town. Unfortunately I think the parking a bit inconvenient, as the parking garage a block away is. As well as stuck a dead fly on the wall and the bottle was empty, when we got to the room. We have the stay at the Seewirt. We really enjoyed mattsee. Prior to our arrival we were a bit skeptical, because the hotel with a rather small wellness and sauna area offers. This is however very nice designed during our stay and was not very busy, so that we could enjoy and fully at our expense came. The pool is on the fourth floor overlooking the mattsee-really nice! We booked this hotel for new year's Eve in Salzburg to partying. The hotel has a perfect location and you shortest walk almost everywhere. With the bus, for example, it takes only five minutes to the old town. Parking garage costs 8 Euro per day (our opinion really cheap). I can't understand why some were upset! Go to Munich: DSO the room: really nice equipped, huge large bathroom with rain shower, nice bed, flat screen tv and everything was very clean. We can only recommend this hotel! Read more

the astoria in bad hofgasten is a bit of a secret and i thought more than twice before writing this review, however here goes. its a must! , the hotel is very well kept and the rooms are perfect its 4 star hotel but could be more,towels a go go, bathrobe, thermal indoor pool, sauna, turkish bath, spa, the staff are freindly,helpful and fun! a great hearty brekfast a snick snack at 3pm, and (this is the fourth time i go there in two years )dinner there is better than a lot of retaurants i hav...
