For a city trip a centrally located hotel in the best shopping district. Right across the street there is a shopping center, cafes, restaurants and everything you need. To the rear is a large sports the school next door and in the morning around 7.30 o'clock there is school Morgenappell, so that one could use the alarm clock we could leave them easily at home without worry. Anyone who believes the perfect luxury of Arab hotel brand also to be found in Shanghai, is disappointed. The impressive lobby: a benefit, but after 20 o'clock quite dead. The bar is not defined. It is difficult to chat to other guests. There is no one here or the service work done. Therefor the breakfast is very good and wide. The suite is nicely furnished. First things first: in this hotel, you'll be only, if one is straight in Pudong landed or shortly after flight, since it is not in the center but just outside of Shanghai near the airport, where to and from where a complimentary shuttle bus (Duration about 30 minutes), but beware: currently (December 2011) are one hundred percent of the shock absorber broken or completely developed, which means, that you-especially if you right at the back sit-extremely hard (the seats anyway not really soft)... This hotel was built probably in the middle of 70th.
Room: I used Superior room which was not 22 sqm, it has in fact no more than 15 sqm. Room was quite well furnished but very dirty, carpet, bed linen was not clean enough for 4 star hotel. There is ton of dust on each corner. Bed was hard as a stone, I’ve visited many Chinese hotels but this bed was the hardest ever. It is impossible to have a good rest there.
