The refurbished hotel is situated in an old building on the 3rd floor and can be entered by an elevator.
Our bedroom was very small with an airconditioner above the top-end of the double bed (from my own earlier experiences I know that airconditioners placed in this way are hardly to be used at night). The bed is large and has a good mattress. The room has a fridge, a TV (only Italian channels), a safe and coffee/tea facilities (which is not common in continental Europe!). The room is rather... If you are willing to accept some restrictions like
- no TV
- a 23. 00 hrs. curfew
- that even with cool and rainy weather in spring, the heating
will be on for only a few hours in the evening. Taking a bath
in the morning is therefore quite chilly.

This is a boutique hotel run by an experienced family who know how to look after their guests. As a foreign visitor I enjoyed the authenticity of the hotel and its rural situation and I felt that I was staying in the real Italy.
The room and bathroom were of a good size and very clean. The free wireless internet worked well and kept me in touch with my business and news from home.
Excellent size with a comfortable bed and good quality cotton linen.
