we were welcomed in a friendly manner and got a room with balcony. The room, clean, nice and practically equipped. Elevator goes up to the third floor. We lived on the fourth floor, room number 401.
breakfast was good, however daily right! Eggs, Bacon, juices, muesli, water. Bread/rolls be at the table serves. One day we were hard rolls serves, after complaint they were immediately for freshly baked exchanged.

We were very happy, as a group in a good three star hotel to descend to.
the petrarca is a well-kept property in the look of the seventies, the style and its traditions remains true. We liked the a bit nostalgic atmosphere, so know and we appreciate the Italian flair as since many years.
in a beautiful garden area located (in our visit wintry and snowy), is the petrarca a smpathisches place to chill out, relaxation and the good food.

the room of the three star hotels ( four stars would be attached) spread across different level and parts of building, the everywhere very clean and attractive. We had a double room with breakfast booked. The perfect breakfast the Halbuntergeschoss taken. The room is with a view of a lateral canal of the Canale Grande. from the outside rather inconspicuously, inside very appealing. Dining room in the hallway, however therefor with a view of the lagoon and the ships. Initially we thought, that it a very small hotel is, but there is still room in the neighboring building. Front desk German speaking. Mixed guest structure.

the hotel is very clean and freshly renovated.
the whole interior fittings seemed very harmonious and Oriental.
Immediately after entering of the hotel you really feel comfortable.
