Wonderful mix of holyday and culture on the Nile
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIt was almost perfect! Very clean, very good food, very nice and kind stuff (manager included). Very nice bathroom and cabins. Only the carpets should may be changed nextly, in the cabins and in the bar and in the lunch-room. The mix of the excursions and the sailing time were also very good chosen. The cruise will be in memory for long time!
CabinEverything was very good! Clean, good service by the houskeeping in the cabin and in the bathroom. Swiss people are sometimes a little bit to much about perfect things... But here it was may be even a little bit better than in Switzerland.... (:-). But, the carpets should really be changed.
GastronomyThe variety of local food and "european" food was extraordinary. And all really top quality! Now ill stomachs and so on! And always to say about the stuff: how kindly and polite everybody was! And the decoration with and by the food was really great. Also the feast of somebody (birthday, marriageday etc) was be known by special songs and a special cake and congratulations.
ServiceI felt very happy with the personnal's competencies. Everybody of the stuff always very friendly and kind and nice with the guests. Also between the stuff and the manager there is so much respect for the work of every body. For me it was impressionating! For every thing, may be not perfect, the stuff or the manager did find a solution!
Sport & EntertainmentThe entertainement may be could get better. Very nice was the "galabea-evening"!
Land excursionsVery good! The mix of excursions and sailing was very good organised! And the guide (Said) gave really very good explications about history and the actaul life in Egypt. Also about egyptain mentality to understand the difference with f. ex mentality in Europe. And I learned much about the culture in the past and in the presence.
Other tips and recommendationsWhen I will be back for an other cruise, I will go again with Lady Mary, because of the ship, the stuff and the management
