not large but quite comfy, clean and well presented. Houskeeping twice a day, well loked after. Air con as standard but not needed when we went, plenty of hot water for the showers. Had a double bed which was the two singles pushed together ie. double or twin when you book.

My biggest disapointment, after two days I found the food qiute repetative and the quality quite variable but the chef would try to do any specials requested. Buffet style, quite crowded at meal times due to one hour meal slots but waiters quite attentive. Other passengers quite liked the food so I,m not sure if we were on the same boat.

A lot of the staff very helpful but my wife found some individuals reluctant to serve women, bypassing them to serve men. These were in the minority though. As mentioned before cabin service was good and reception manned 24 hours.

Egptian night ok but most nights make your own entertainment, with early starts though we were not up late.

What the trip was all about, a lot of sights seen in a short time, guides excellent and very informative. Be prepared for a lot of hassle from vendors trying to sell you all manor of bit and pieces. Especially bad in the valley of the kings. All our trips were included in the booking except abu simbel, worth seeing but over three hours by coach.

A bit chilly when we went, 2nd week in jan, needed extra jumpers for evenings. If haggling over prices aim for less than 50% of asking price. Came down with funny tums,not sure what caused it, take the medication with you.
