Sunrise Select MS Semiramis III

River view cabin, good air conditioning, mini fridge, hair-dryer, phone, tv, excellent shower. Towels changed daily in wonderful shapes and animals. Great view from room. Cabin serviced daily. Wee bitty noisy.

One buffet style restaurant, vast quantity of food available, reasonable selection of both continental and Egyptian food. Salad bar and fresh fruit available at each meal time. Very clean.

Every member of staff is very friendly, helpful and has a good sense of humour. All speak basic english, with some being very competent. French and german spoke on board aswell I think. Masseuse on board was good for my elderly fathers back. The staff really did make the trip the most memorable so far.

Ping pong, wee swimming pool, treadmill, massage tent and cycling machine on board. Good evening entertainment on three nights. Nubian dancers, belly dancing and games night, very funny!

Good opportunities for trips, booked on board through blue sky representative who was our guide throughout. Made life very easy for us, tips for drivers etc included. Could do with a bit more time on land but generally very good. A great source of information and always ready to help.

Came in January which was the perfect time temperature wise, cool evenings and quite hot during the day. Water is a bit expensive on board. If cruising for 7 days the boat is in Luxor for three of those nights out of town a bit but within reasonably priced taxi distance.
