Amsterdam ArenA is the home of the Ajax football club and the largest sporting stadium in the Netherlands. The stadium also houses the Ajax museum.
 
Football Fan Heaven
Built in 1996 the ArenA has a total capacity of 52,000 for football matches but up to 68,000 for concerts. 1 hour tours of the stadium are offered in Dutch and English. They take place daily at set times between 11am - 4:30pm and cost around €12. Entrance to the Ajax Museum is included in the price. It is a great excursion for football fans who want to see the home of the Netherlands most successful football team and the home of the orange fans. There is also the official Ajax Fan Shop selling club merchandise.
 
Visiting the Amsterdam ArenA and Ajax Museum
The stadium is located in Amsterdam Zuidoost, very close to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena train and metro station. Take metro line 54 from Central / Amstel stations or line 50 from Amsterdam Zuid / RAI stations.
