Located in the north of Munich the two professional football clubs FC Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munchen have been playing their home games here since 2005.The exterior of the facade is made from ETFE foil air panels. Each panel can be individually lit in white, red or blue light. This is so the panels can be lit up depending on the home team which is playing.
The stadium also has a day care centre, a FC Bayern munich Megastore and two fan shops.
