Chicago Greeter is a service run by the Chicago tourism board and local volunteers to help visitors really get to know Chicago. It is a free service and last up to 4 hours. You have to register online at least a week in advance where you say how many people you are, what language you speak and what you are most interested in e.g history, architecture, popular culture etc.
