The Cinque Terre Medieval Villages
The Cinque Terre - 5 lands is composed of 5 small villages. They are Levanto, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola & Rionaggiore. They extend about 12 km along the coastal strip on the Italian Riviera in the Liguria region. The villages are built in "swallownests" attached to or on the mountain.
 
Visiting the Cinque Terre
The region is a national park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To use the road connecting the villages costs €5.
