Description
The largest theatre used for spoken drama in Germany has always found it difficult to find audiences. Friedrich Schirmer, the theatre director since the summer of 2005, has not found things any easier, but his mixture of plays is gaining appeal.
The theatre's ensemble has won much praise, particularly as a theatre for young people, performing pieces for children and teenagers.
