General information:
The Eiger North Face is Mountain in Switzerland and is 3970m high. The first time the north face was climbed was on July 24th 1938 by a German-Austrian party. Prior to this many climbers had attempted to climb the north face with most attempts ending fatal except for the attempt in 1937.

Practical information:
On the Eiger it is possible to participate in a variety of different activities such as Mountaineering, Trad climbing, Sport Climbing, Ice Climbing and Aid Climbing.
