Esplanade of Spain
Also known as "La Explanada" millions of pieces of white, red and black marble cover the ground on Alicante's showcase promenade. The 500 metre long promenade is the perfect place for a stroll beneath the shade of the palms. The marina is further along the coast. It is a favourite with tourists and bars, restaurants, ice cream palours an outdoor auditorium can be found here.
 
On the opposite side is the city of Alicante wioth other historical buildings and museums.
