Europa-Park is the second most visited Theme Park in Europe. It was opened in 1975 in Rust which lies around 35km away from Freiburg. The park is huge with a total area of 970,000 square meters.
 
The whole of Europe in one day
The Europe-Park is divided into 15 areas, each with it's own European theme. These are: Germany, Russia, Italy, France, Scandinavia, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, Greece, United Kingdom, Austria and Iceland. Every European can feel at home in the park and every visitor from further afield can experience the whole of Europe in one day.  The Park is huge and offers something for everyone.

Europaland offers many accommodation options including four themed hotels, a campsite and a guest house.
