Description
It is said that the church was endowed by a sailor in 1250 in gratitude for being rescued from the sea, but the 30 m bluff on which it thrones was itself gradually eroded by the sea. The choir eventually crashed into the waves in 1928, being replaced by a terrace with a marvellous view.
