HMS Belfast is a floating Museum on the River Thames, a reminder of the naval power Britain once had and a symbol of her heritage.HMS Belfast a Life at Sea.
She was launched in 1938 and was commissioned in 1939. She served till 1963 and has been a museum ship since 1971. Her 9 decks now serve to inform curious visitors about life at sea. It is a family friendly venue and there are regular free events for under 16s. A visit time of 1.5 - 2 hours is recommended.
