Description
It is situated on the Old Market and is considered to be Dresden's oldest church. It has already been destroyed on several occasions: twice by fires, in 1760 by Prussian cannon balls and in 1945 by English bombs. It was opened again in 1955. 256 steps lead up to the viewing platform in the tower.
When the ensemble is not on tour, you can hear it on Saturdays at the vespers (from 18.00 in summer, 17.00 in winter), at services of worship and at various performances.
