Hulhule Airport
Hulhule Airport and Gan airport are the only two international airports of the Maldives. Hulhule airport is located on Hulhule island,which is connected to the main island Male via a ferry.


Northeast of the airport lies the mainly manmade island Hulhumale, which is connect via a dam.
When approaching it, it seems like a largeairport carrier.

Once landed, you will be welcomed by your hotel or resort
representative who will pick you up via boat, air taxi or helicopter.

The arrival area is relatively small, with a passport control and a baggagecheck. There is also a duty-free area, 2 restaurants, and several small shops.There are also several souvenir shops which are better priced than the ones onthe islands.


When coming from Germany, the flight duration is around 9.5 hours and from Austria about 8 hours.
