The KaDeWe, Kaufhaus Des Westens, is a giant shopping center on Berlin's famous shopping Street Kurfurstendamm, also known as the KuDam. It's shops are spread over 60,000 square meters and after Harrods in London is the second biggest department store in Europe.
 
Seven Floors of Goodies
Each floor is devoted to its own category. The 1st is beauty acccessories, the 2nd Men's apparel followed by womens fashion on 3. The 4th is a mix of children's, lingerie and health and the 5th is interior and design. The 6th houses arts, entertainment, toys, office and souvenirs and number 7 is food!
 
Food at the KaDeWe
The delicatessen department is worth a visit in itself: Spread over an area of 7000 m2, there is everything a connoisseur could wish for, from oysters to lemongrass.
